Look and work great. Love it.
Installed six of these in my house. They work and look great. The only negatives are I had to have them professionally installed and you had to be adjacent to an outlet or Cat 6 wall connection to a server area. Otherwise, unsightly wires would hang down the wall. I was lucky as it was new construction and the wires were installed in advance.

Remote Connect is AMAZING
Bought this to upgrade our old UCM6204 specifically for the Remote Connect feature. We’re a 100% remote business and we’re constantly chasing issues with VPN connecting back to our phone system. The Remote Connect is amazing and just works no matter what kind of network you’re on and gets right through CGNAT, double NAT, etc.

VOIP PBX that is simple and actually works! No monthly fees.
Very nice way to enter the VOIP world. Nothing fancy but very reliable. I have spent many hours programming these for different customers and it was always a pleasure to see my final results work just as I expected them to. If you are in the VOIP world of providers I highly recommend them.

Poor US tech support, proprietary VIOP
Grand stream products would be good if they had better US tech support. I’d hope to use it for my small seasonal business, but that does not compatible with any of the available. VIOP services. Couple of that with the inefficiency of tech-support and you have got your work cut out for you. Should you be successful in bringing it online? It will serve you well, However, getting to that point can be quite the challenge.

I got this PBX from Amazon, and programmed it myself. I have not fully developed the functions yet, but it is working perfect - with 5 VOIP truck numbers from IXICA, supporting 15 extensions. I programmed the device with helping from ChatGTP . I am not familiar with IT, but the experience is amazing. Now my office is with multiple IVRs, selecting languages first, then selecting extensions, releasing most work of our receptionist. We have Polycom phones for receptionists, and cordless Panasonic phones through HT802 or HT814 devices. I do have some problems with this device, e.g. the response is slow when waiting for IVR Reponses. I have not yet developed as effective protocol with the PLA, but it may be because I have not yet learned how to program (that part is actually complex, that to manage extensions, and visibly transfer calls between the extensions). For small business, it is much better to have PBX from the provider, that requires you have one line for each extension. I ordered services of 5 lines from IXICA, $20 each including North American unlimited calls, plus I tailored my own features, e.g. recording, cordless, meeting etc. I do suggest small businesses to have this system.
