Buy it. You didn’t know you needed this.
This thing changed my life!! I’ve pulled up and installed linoleum/vinyl flooring before and left the experience bruised, chapped, blistered, bleeding…it was traumatic. I bought this thing without even really understanding what it was, I just knew I needed some help for this second vinyl project.It. Changed. Everything. The old linoleum just popped right up! If it didn’t pop up, this bad boy sliced through it like a hot knife through butter. This made a 3 day project take like 6 hours. I’m not kidding. Buy this thing.

Not good cutting carpet!
I'm remodeling my basement and have to remove the carpet to put laminate in it's place. So I thought these would make tearing the carpet out easy. NOPE! They cut but not good. I ended up getting the old trusty razer knife and it cut the carpet like butter! So I don't recommend these for carpet. Use your razer knife.

Not sharp
I paid a little more because I wanted some serious cutting power. I should have saved my money. This tool isn't even as sharp as the cheap ones that cost 60 cents or less. I still need something that can cut through double cardboard. I'll be returning this and taking a chance on something else. FYI - I buy a lot from Amazon and am usually satisfied.

Inexpensive, but doesn't feel cheap.
Used a pair of these to tear up, cut into all the linoleum in our laundry room. Ridgid and sharp, not too much flex in the blade. Would use this knife for linoleum, vinyl, or linoleum flooring to install/remove.
