Gamewright - Hi Lo Flip - A Card Game of Highs & Lows

This is such a fun and easy to learn game. Anyone can play, all ages and can play with a large group. It is easy to travel with since it is just cards and a chip. I am not sure if you can buy a replacement chip, but that would be a great thing to have since it comes up missing quite easily. The colors on the cards are beautiful and they are a sturdy material that will withstand many rounds!The game is one of our favorites. In fact we love Gamewright games in general. They are typically easy to learn, instructions are written well and always so much fun!

I was hesitant about buying this because I wasn't sure how "replayable" it would be. Some games are fun for the 1st few plays, and then they stay in the closet never to be played again. I just bought this, and I have a strong feeling we will be playing this repeatedly. The cards are "eye-candy" quality. It was a bit awkward at first tossing or flipping the coin so I improvised and used a sturdy Tim Horton's paper cup to jiggle the coin inside and then flipping it. I also read one review that said it's more fun if there were more than 2 players, but I don't think so. It's just as fun with only 2 players. A game to like, to share with friends, and to keep. Not giving it away just yet!

My husband and I have game nights with our friends about once a week. I saw this game from in instagrammer who played with her family and I wanted to give it a try!The game was easy to understand and learn (just make sure to read the directions/rules). The Hi/Lo coin is MUCH heavier than I anticipated but I also like the heaviness as it doesn’t go flying off of the table. My favorite part is the CARDS. The colors are BEAUTIFUL and each number has a different color it seems. The box that holds the game is big enough where it holds its own spot on our game shelf but also small enough where we can transport it easily in a bag to our friends’ homes.This would be a gift for family or friends who enjoy game nights or a quick game to pass the time by!

I was torn on 3 or 4 stars. The game is very easy to learn and is fun. However playing two player ends up being very heavily played one way for points. But when we played more people it was more even out. But still not avery good point system. I do like the idea of flipping and changing the direction of the cards. And my friend I think likes this one more than I did. The box is very large just for a coin and cards.
