USMC FILBE Hydration Pouch Genuine Issue 8465-01-600-7887 Coyote

This was the standard issue hydration pouch issued during my time in the US Marine Corps. For 8 years this pouch served me well in multiple environments. Now I carry it on my surplus ILBE pack for camping, hiking, and bugout.Durability– Despite seeing a fair amount of action, this pouch experiences minimal wear and tear. After enough time, you may see some slight fraying or tears, but I can't think of any gear that doesn't after enough time.Storage– This pouch is made for a 3L Camelbak bladder, and fits it perfectly. However, I always had an issue with that bladder, it popped too easy. Sit back on your pack or back for a second and *pop* there goes your water. So I switched to a nylon reinforced MSR Dromedary 4L (one of my favorite purchases). While holding a liter more water and being more durable / slightly bulkier, I am still able to fit my bladder in this pouch (although it is a tight fit when full, admittedly).Drainage– Perhaps one of the most under appreciated features that many MOLLE pouches overlook is a drainage hole. When you're out in the field for days or weeks and it ends up pouring rain on you, these pouches can fill with water and make your pack become heavier by the hour. The drainage hole on this pouch prevents that.Overall, I highly recommend this pouch for anyone looking to carry up to a 4L water bladder MOLLE'd onto kit or pack. Well worth the money.

I don't use hydration bladders, that's why I have all those (shareable) stainless steel bottles, but I love this pouch. It is about as well made as you can get, and this is a genuine military-grade accessory. It is an excellent size for gear (like those smaller MRE sustainment pouches and other stuff awaiting deployment). You can spend a lot of money for your smaller stuff sacks without the great MOLLE attachments on this pouch and without the durability and quality workmanship. This is just an excellent product for organizing things and for transport, and I have to counsel myself not to buy more of these because I like mine so much. Really - you won't regret it, and I got a great price on a new and flawless product.UPDATE: Well, the counseling didn't work, and I bought another one. Again, I received an excellent product that has never been used. It's "new" but has a manufacturing date of some years ago (on the plastic zip bag label) - when they were shipping troops to fight in the GWOT in the Middle East. That explains the great deal on genuine issue unused gear - an excellent price for an excellent product. Darn handy little bag. Very happy camper here.

Was not expecting actually brand new in the bag pouches. I got both Proper mfg and Eagle Industries mfg, real USMC stuff. These are just great all around bags anywhere you can mount them. I run 2x on the back of the FILBE ruck and 1x fits great on the back of a plate carrier. Great cheap way to carry a water bladder on your plate carrier. I was about to spend $$$ on a plate carrier specific one but this works perfectly for the job.

Built very well and has held up well after lots of use. Would definitely buy again if I needed another.

I wanted a tan colored hydration carrier so I could add for a 3L source water bladder to a rather small day pack. This item was just what I needed at a very good price. Lightweight but well made, it’s genuine USGI/USMC surplus NIW. What’s not to love. I should buy another because it would make a great gift.

In searching for a niche type of storage for my work van I stumbled upon these USMC surplus hydration pouches. There is a sewn patch on the back with a cage number and the manufacturer. Their intended purpose is to hold a water bladder. I use them to store misc. supplies in the back of my van, up towards the ceiling. The inner frame is exposed on the van and I can either hang these, or tuck them in neatly. I imagine that these will last longer than the van. Buckle is good, material is great, my particular order was unissued 2012 stock. Condition was brand new.
