Excellent tool for specific applications IF you already have Ryobi ONE+ commitment
Short story: appears to be the most powerful blower within the 18v Ryobi ONE+ system, and if you already have batteries for that system and need a blower that is capable of clearing leaves, brush, and grass clippings of a hardscape for clearing a patio, or cleaning up driveway edges after mowing and string trimming the lawn, then this is a perfect tool. Would NOT attempt to blow an entire lawn worth of leaves or do heavier duty work with it; it is not maximum power. Bang for the buck is worth it. Long story: I inherited some tools and batteries in the Ryobi ONE+ system when I bought my first house, and so with every new power tool purchase I consider staying in-brand. Specifically, since adding a couple 3amp lithium ion batteries to the system I've got the ability to work all day effectively uninterrupted with a constant cycle of charges. I have a very powerful corded electric blower that is a pain to deal with due to extension cord coiling and uncoiling, and I sought a more convenient way to touch up my driveway and roadside after mowing and string trimming, as well as to clear the small amount of leaves and such that land on my patio and driveway. I saw this listing, which oddly boasts the product at a price point $30 lower than Home Depot (even without the battery). I then read reviews and saw that if you want true "gasoline power" from an electric system, you really need to upgrade to a 40 or 60v system. Price points for those look in the $200-300 range for one tool plus a battery/charger. Being as I already had perfectly functional gasoline and twin-cycle lawn tools for almost all other applications, I thought it would be wasteful to go all-out for a brand new system. Likewise, I did want to avoid buying another fossil fuel dependent machine if I could. I bought this unit with crossed fingers that it would be powerful enough. For MY purposes, it is! It clears fresh grass clippings, acorns, scattered leaves, and reasonably dried dirt that hasn't caked-on without issue, resulting in pristinely clean hardscapes. Turned to turf lines of mulched grass, if the grass is not soaking it will effectively scatter this mulch. I only have a 3amp battery (I think the battery-included version comes with 4amp) and it gave me a good 10 minutes of use (trigger pulled full strength probably 3/4 of the time). It is VERY light, ergonomic, easy to use, and meets my purposes perfectly. I do not see any flaws in the product, within the limitations of its power as advertised. Do recommend if you are in a similar scenario.

LOVE this.
This is such a handy, fun, useful little tool. We have a big gas powered blower for big leaf jobs, which will tackle things like damp leaf buildup, leaves trapped in hosta beds or ivy beds, etc.--this blower does NOT do those jobs. However, it is GREAT for keeping walkways, driveways, barn aisles, patios, and other hard surface areas neat and tidy in a fraction of the time of sweeping. It will also a decent job of blowing fairly dry leaves out of trees/bushes/etc. or into a pile, although I'd keep that for smaller areas--you're better off with a more powerful blower for big projects. Our property is covered in trees, mostly old oak trees, and they drop tons of leaves, acorns, and other debris--I absolutely do not have time to sweep every day, but it's fun, fast, and easy to pull this out and blow off the main areas in 5-10 minutes whenever I get the urge. It really feels like a new toy, so light and easy to use, and so pleasing to see the neat results. It's so fun that my 9 year old son also used it frequently this fall to clear the walkways and driveway, and tried to claim this tool as his own. Please note, this blower does NOT come with any batteries, so I ordered the 2 battery pack and charging kit to go with it, which means that I can always keep one battery charging while the other is in use. Each battery lasts about 10-15 minutes, which is more than enough to do the little jobs this blower is meant for, and I can use my back-up battery if I get carried away using it all over the yard. I wish I'd gotten this years ago!

The best!
I love Ryobi cordless tools so you can call me bias if you like, but this thing really does deserve full marks. It's super light weight, and super powerful/effective. I was never sold on electric yard tools for the longest time even with the Ryobi compliment, but after a while I got older and was sick to death of having to spend time and energy trying to get my gas engine yard tools started. My leaf blower was one of the biggest culprit so I sucked it up and bought this and I will never go back to a gas powered blower again. I drain a 4 Ah battery all the way and a second about half way and get the entire front of my house and the yard done. The best part is that I probably get it all done in just a little more time than it used to take just to get my gas powered blower to get running.

Great Tool
As Ryobi is known for its versatile tools and batteries, this product is great for small jobs. It does use up the battery quickly. This size blower is for small area jobs like blowing debris off sidewalks, porches, and short driveways. If you have large areas, then go up in size/power.

Nice lightweight blower! (Update-2023!)
May 2020 I love this! My husband owns two sets of Ryobi cordless tools so he recommended that I get a Ryobi blower so I could use his batteries. Made sense to me! I have MS, weakness, pain and fatigue and this is perfect... Very light and easy to use. I use it to blow off our patio furniture on the decks, to sweep off the sidewalk out to our shop, blow leaves and dirt out of the rocks in our landscaping. You name it, it works for me! Update a year later May 2021 I love this blower!!! aA year later and it still running strong and time to get another one for our home away from home! It’s so powerful yet light weight, the best cordless tool I have ever owned! ( I think it’s my favorite!) ** update 2022!!!** I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD ABOUT THIS RYOBI BLOWER!!! 2 years older now and works like it’s brand new! I use this thing at least once a day if not more. Love, love, love it!!!!!!! UPDATE 2023! I use this daily in the summertime, multiple times a day sometimes! I love this blower, and it still runs great. It makes my life so much easier, and Ryobi cordless products are a game changer, they last! *NOTE I AM A VINE VOICE, AND I PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT WITH MY OWN MONEY. I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE ANY FREE PRODUCT FOR MY HONEST AND UNBIASED REVIEWS.

Hard to go wrong with ONE+
I have been a big fan of Ryobi tools and their ONE+ tools for a long time. Having used them for construction work and never having one fail and only one of them, their hammer drill I bought when they were first offered years ago, finally wear out on me I was more than a little interested in the leaf blower. Absolutely LOVE it. No, it isn't going to dislodge paving stones or roll bricks over like a good corded leaf blower but just how many times do you really need to roll bricks over? Snap a fully charged battery in and go to work in ANY place, ANY time, with complete freedom of movement. The variable speed trigger, that can not pinch your finger unless you are mentally challenged and pointing it up trying to proactively blow the leaves out of the trees, gives you the ability to blow those annoying leaves out of your mulched flowerbeds without sending half the mulch into the yard is worth it alone. The ole lady nagging you about sweeping the carport or patio? Pfffth! Done! Why stop there?! Drag it into the house and blow everything into a corner THEN grab the 'Foreign particulate accumulator v1.0' and finish the job! I suspect that if you let the leaves pile up and get wet you would be wasting your time but with as quick and painlessly as this system allows you to grab and go there is really no excuse for the leaves to get piled up on ya. Great product from a great product line that I own probably 3/4 of their entire lineup of and all of them are rugged well thought out tools. Even if you are not a Handyman type of guy interested in their other tools this is worth having. If you own a deck, have a sidewalk, carport, or any other place you like to keep neat and clean BUY this now. Bonus!!! Blow the water off your car in seconds for that spot free shine. No, unfortunately I was not given any sort of recompense or discount for this review. Paid full price and I am not disappointed in it in the least.

Very Impressed by the size and power.
Needed something light weight and cordless for around the house. Just got it last night, earlier than expected and immediately put it to use. I have two 5000mAh high capacity replacement Ryobi 18v batteries so power and time will not be an issue. It worked very well in the driveway removing twigs, leaves and debris. Has a good amount of power and the sound is not bad at all. No louder than an electric blower we have been using. It was nice to walk around the cars and not have to worried about an extension cord. Will it work in the fall moving a large amount of leaves? Don't think so but I have a back blower for that. This will be used on the driveway, back porch and walk ways. Easy to use and light enough for my wife and mother-in-law to use with no issues. Just have to keep all the batteries charged when the fall comes.
