Love the pricing
Love the pricing, the quick deliver and works exceptionally well, much less BSI or other radio/media companies. Was needing cabinet for installation of our new radio station, purchased 2 for the "Radio Shack" where the tower is and the main studio. Would buy again if needed.

Turning a swing and a miss into a home run
I initially purchased two of the Middle Atlantic RK-8's to mount under an alcove in my control room. When they arrived, and after the first one was assembled, it became clear that my entire concept was faulty - it just wasn't going to be a convenient location for the gear I was going to rack. Should I return the unassembled one and "eat" the purchase of the one I'd just put together? Ooops - Plan B?I ended up stacking and securing both units together, adding casters on the bottom to fashion a single, rolling 16 space tower... and it's perfect. Although it would have been better to have had my act together before placing the order and a little cheaper to purchase and assemble a larger, freestanding unit from Middle Atlantic... there's one plus with this construction. The double thick shelf in the middle makes this rack especially strong and maybe, less "tippy"That said, these racks go together very easily, all the needed tools and parts were included in each package. The fit and finish is excellent for the price. They represent good value.I'd buy more and might even duplicate another "custom double" to match.

Good build.
This is my second one purchased! I do like it because of the sturdy build and simplicity of it. I took an idea out of one of the other reviewers here and put 2 of them together to make a 16 Space rack and also added some casters at the bottom. Yes, there are all different kinds of racks out there and I recommend you look at pictures and reviews of each one before purchasing. This fits my needs because I do not intend to be hauling it around and the black finish fits in with the rest of my furniture in the music room. This is not intended to be hauled around, but if you want something basic for your home studio this will certainly get the job done. My only complaint is how sharp the edges on this thing are. But, obviously not enough of an issue since I came back and bought another!
