Doesn’t show a broad color does spectrum
I bought this one instead of others since it had the rounded edges. The video shows a decent color spectrum but that’s not how I received mine since it is likely tinted too dark. There are 6 sides (2 red, 2 blue, 2 yellow) on opposite sides. So looking straight at it will give you a solid red, yellow, or blue. I didn’t expect a full spectrum rainbow since this isn’t a gradient, but it was really just primary colors on the sidesBlue + Yellow = Green (you can rarely see this color, only at certain angles)Blue + Red = Purple (can only be seen under a bright light, it looks black without it)Red + Yellow = Orange (can’t see this - looks like a dark red/black to me.)I didn’t have much expectations for it since I already considered it a cool-useless toy. But after seeing the poor colors, it’s more like a meh-useless toy.

Quite beautiful, but mine was slightly flawed
Not that it keeps me from recommending this prism, but the process for applying color to the faces lacks some quality control. The one I received had a little bit of blue smeared over the yellow face. (See photo, lower right, red oval.) In a way, it gives it a little unexpected charm, and I'm sure the recipient will still love it; but still, I hope that doesn't imply anything else about it's construction is lacking.

Not impressed
The colors are fading in random spots, poorly made but still cool.

Well made, but not good at showing color mixing
The media could not be loaded. This is a clear cube with a colored pane on each side. It really seems well made, very smooth with no blemishes. However, I don’t see the full CMYRGB that’s shown in the photo. No matter how I hold it or how bright the background light is, I just get yellow, red, and blue in the middle and dark around the edges. I guess the colored panes are too strongly tinted to let the mixed colors through. The attached video shows this against a bright clear sky (I see the same thing with cloudy sky or indoor electric lighting). Conclusion: this isn’t good to demonstrate color mixing. If that’s what you want, look for another one, preferably one you can try out in person before purchasing.

Looks better in the pictures
The four sides of this prism are painted with clear colors. It looks okay, but the paint isn't applied evenly. It's a good-looking little pyramid, but it looks better in the pictures than it does in your hand.

Color panes are expertly glued, no bubbles
This is a clear glass pyramid with colored panes of glass glued to the 4 triangular sides. The glue is perfectly applied with no bubbles or squeeze outs. You can just catch a fingernail around the edges of each piece of colored glass but there are no sharp edges anywhere. This is a well made thing.

Paint chips
The paint chips off and scratches very easily
