Too lemony
Good beef flavour for a shop bought stock but tasted over-poweringly of lemon juice (lemon juice concentrate listed in ingredients). Unfortunately the beef casserole had a bit of citricy flavour that slightly over-powered the dish (and I didn't even use the whole can). Probably would be excellent with less lemon concentrate!

Far to salty
Why does it have to be so salty,I can make home made stock far tastier and nowhere near as salty

Tate's like Marmite
It's not a neutral beef stock, its way too strong on the marmite, it's almost inedible. It's like liquid twiglets.Might be ok for a pie or casserole but awful for gravy.Gone to the corner shop for a pot of bisto to save my roast dinner.
