Absolutely great game for history lovers and strategists with likeminded heads
I recently got heavily interested in history and geography and it was also the time for me to get a new board game. I did quite a lot of research and got interested in games like PanzerBlitz and Memoir '44. But I stumbled across a video, saying 'review of Axis and Allies' and so I got pinned. I ordered the game and It came fast. It only took about 2-3 days to deliver from the US. The box was a bit smaller than I had expected, but the board itself, is massive and I am super happy with that. The figures are normal size (for me) and are sculpted very well and I love the design. However, for beginners telling ships such as Cruisers, Destroyers and Battleships apart may be a little difficult. The rules and strategies in this game are very, very easy to learn and are not as complicated as it seems. The best thing about this game is: that you can play solo! With the right rules and fair attack movements, you can play this game all by yourself. A very. very good game and I have not been having this kind of fun in a LONG time. Great game and it is definitely worth the price and time!

Very Fun Strategy game. Played the Computer game version as a Kid. Not hard to learn the rules at all. After a bit of a langthy set up, game flows very smoothly.

Good Improvement Over Original but …
I played and am a diehard fan of the original version of this game (from) the late 80’s. This version is a great improvement on the original with some new unit types, new map layout, cool country specific unit pieces, some good changes (In my opinion) to the rules. All these changes make me excited to play (I haven’t played it yet) and it appears that some of the changes will help level the playing field (the version I played as a kid slightly favored the Allies). The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that this version is lacking in the accessory department:1. There isn’t any paper money included. I know that you’re supposed to keep track using the ipc tracker on the board, but that’s lame in my opinion.2. Nothing was provided to store the plastic unit pieces. Unless you count the disposable plastic bag they came in.3. Only six dice are included.I ended up buying some plastic boxes, Monopoly money and some extra dice to remedy these shortcomings. Perhaps the lack of these items doesn’t bother you. However, it bothered me and I was surprised that this stuff wasn’t included. At any rate, those are my 2 cents. I still think that it’s going to be fun to play and I’d recommend to a friend.

Classic game
A classic strategy game that is fun for 3 to 4 players. If you are a first time player it will take about two hours to set up and go over the rules.(or watch YouTube videos for the rules)after that the games typically can last 8 hours or more. I have spent well over 100+ hours with friends enjoying this game! Do you love history or strategy this is a one up!!

Blast from the past
This is a game I played as a kid and my kids wanted to play it. Great memories from the past. Super fast shipping and item was as described. It's nice to see my kids taking a break from screen time but still uses strategy and thinking skills.
