Our range of pressurised pond filters with built-in UV sterilisers are designed to be continuously pressurised by your pond pump, maintaining excellent water quality for healthy fish keeping.By simply turning the cleaning handle you can rinse clean the foam media, reducing the need to dis-assemble! Review: el riesgo de lo económico - Aunque el funcionamiento del filtro y su sistema de limpieza me parecen muy interesantes y funcionales, la calidad de los materiales me hizo devolver el articulo por un defecto en la tapa, una fisura que perdía agua, poca, pero seguramente con el tiempo y la presión terminaría por agrandarse. Prefiriendo no arriesgar elegí otra marca, aunque mas pequeño el filtro me parece muy satisfactorio
Review: Never looked back. - Nice quality of build. The hose fitting that is clear - that has the spinning propeller that shows flow - don't rely on it. It gets clogged easily. But other than that, brilliant. The turn handle seems sturdy enough. When back flowing it's nice to see the grotty water flowing away. I put the shut off valve on the waste output - such that, if the main valve fails the shut off valve will ensure that there are no leaks. Most importantly though, is that the fish are extremely happy and the water cleared in about two days, tops. Astonishing, for years I had a crappy gravity fed filter and no flow. Now I have a high power pump running at full speed - I'm probably doing 5 water changes per hour with this filter in place. UPDATE: The lamp unit is leaking a small amount of water into the tube, which is shorting my distribution board and tripping the RCD. The item is not yet one year old but there is no way of starting a return, though other items purchased at the same time offer a return facility. This is disappointing.
