I have used these Q-tips ever since I was a kid. There is no plastic; cotton swabs only. Value for money is good, but it is better to buy in-store or at Costco. Durability is good and easy to use, they're not flimsy, and you can use them for anything, makeup removal, eye cleaning, body, etc. Absorbency is okay, the swabs aren't large, so they don't absorb as much. My mom and my sister use it to clean up their eyeliner when they do their makeup.
