KIWI design Blue Light Blocking Glasses, VR Lens Protector Accessories Compatible with Quest 2, Anti-Glare and Protect Your Eyes from Harmful Blue Light (1 Pair)

Ordered late December 2022, installed and they seemed to work quite well providing a protective lens for the main lenses of a Meta Quest 2. Removed them for a thorough cleaning in late March '23 and noticed one of the plastic lens retainers had cracked, possibly from stress (?), and failed to hold the lens in place any longer. Wrote customer support since the Amazon return period had lapsed, but the product advertises an 18 month warranty. Product support emailed back within a few hours! After sending a picture of the problem and order number the next day they apologized and said they would send a replacement, which arrived 6 days later in the mail. Couldn't be happier with the new product and excellent customer support.

Update: so they contacted me right away and send a new product that so far has been working good. I hope this one last lol.I bought this for my quest 2 because I got a migraine if I use too much the screen. They were perfect I could use the console for hours, today they just fall off and when I inspect them they both are broken (see picture) so to the trash they go.

Very clear and easy on eyes

They are a little too bulky, and one of them broke when I was trying to pop it in. Other than that, they work really well, and also magnify the images coming from the lenses so you feel closer to being part of the game.

I looked for a while for a lens cover to protect the delicate oculus lense from grimey fingerprints. I messaged some of the companies that do prescription inserts and asked about blanks but didn't hear back. Then I found these. I am sure the blue light filter is important, but not why I bought them. They popped right on and have been secure for a few weeks now.If you are looking for a way to protect the lens, I highly suggest these.

Trust the good reviews it does help with your eyes and it is very helpful my proof is that I played for seven hours straight and timed myself with and without the attachments and it does do its job and it's good overall easy to attach easy to remove only issue I could see somebody having is playing and intense game where you shake your head violently or putting them on which would be the confusion but there are instructions that tell you how to do that.overall good product and it even comes with the glasses wiper thing.

snapping the lens onto the meta quest was easy enough and the lens did help with eye strain, but the plastic that holds the lens in place is cheap or has very little flex to it. after using the meta quest with the lens on twice, I noticed the right side plastic piece had a crack and was loose. I used some hot glue and carefully glue it back together(the lens fell out when i took it off the meta quest) and let it set. The glue held great and i was back to using it for another week or so before I noticed the left piece now has a crack in the same spot as the right had.I can only recommend this product if they replace the plastic with something more reliable, or if you have good glue and steady hands.

I really did like the way these worked. Unfortunately, one to the lens’s cracked on the edge. I didn’t try removing it or adjusting it, it just randomly broke for no reason. I give another brand a try.Update: After my review I did receive a note to provide a photo for a replacement I opted to try another brand. The other brand was not as good as these. We glued the broken frame on one lens and I did try using them again. The good news is the repaired lens still fit so I started using these again. I think kiwi may want to see if the frame material can be upgraded so they do not break as easy and would sell more for sure. I would purchase another pair as a replacement if I had to replace the ones I do have as they do work well overall.
