Beautiful color, horrible monkey
The "blue blue 2" is probably one of the best colors for the Izellah model. It's a dark blue, but still much more livelier than the black model. As it is still a darker shade of blue, it's less likely to get dirty. The bag is perfect for a medium sized model, but I hate the new monkey. It is ugly and cheaply made, a clear push to reduce costs to the point that they even removed the metal chain, now it's just a key ring and a plastic monkey. Kipling bags are very well made in general, but quite expensive considering the material (polyester). So making this sort of changes (swapping the monkey, removing the key fob) is clearly a push from the brand to charge the same prices as before while reducing manufacturing costs, which is frankly greedy. And as the monkey is small and exactly the same color as the bag, it's difficult to notice and basically useless. In my opinion the brand made a huge mistake when they implemented this change and this is the reason why I will only give 4 stars from now one to the newer models that have this, although thr bags themselves are still good.
