What are the differences between the xt268t vs the xt267t vs the xt275t?

XT268T and XT267T combo have the same hammer drill, XPH07 but different impact drivers. XT268T has the XDT14 impact driver which has multiple modes of operation vs the single mode XDT13 in the XT267T combo. XT275T has a different hammer drill, the XPH12 (about half the torque of the XPH07) but the same XDT14 impact driver as the XT268T combo. All 3 sets use the same 5.0ah battery and charger. I have the XPH12 and XPH07 hammer drills and the XDT14 impact driver. I tend to reach for the XPH12 more frequently as it's smaller and lighter and easier to use than its big brother the XPH07. I only go for the XPH07 if I'm using bigger masonry bits or hole saws. The multiple operation modes on the XDT14 are very useful to avoid over driving things. If you're just doing average DIY things around your house the XT275T combo would be the one I'd go for.

Is this Makitas "strongest" drill/impact combo?

The drill XPH 07Z is indeed Makita's top of the line drill . The impact driver XDT 14 however is replaced by XDT16 which is their flagship model has 1600 in-pds of torque . According to me , even a professional doesn't need that kinda specs. Go for this combo , you wouldn't be disappointed.
