Every bit as good as its more famous sibling Velvia
Provia (and its sister film Velvia, which tends to steal the limelight) are the best colour films available, and possibly the best films that have ever been available. It shoots so easily with a well set-up camera, and the results are excellent. This is definitely a bit less saturated than Velvia, and a little "bluer" in tone. However, that means it's ideal for taking shots that are slightly more "realistic" or natural, rather than for pure art or landscape photography. If you're a veteran of Velvia, Provia is absolutely something you ought to try, at least once. If you've never shot either, then this is perhaps the more "forgiving" of the two, especially with the slightly faster speeds on offer, and it's definitely easier to compensate underexposure when developing.I almost always keep a few rolls of both Fuji slide films available, and this is definitely every bit as good as its more popular sibling, and perhaps even better for some applications. I honestly don't understand why it's not more popular, save for the fact that most of its ideal audience are possibly too attached to their DSLRs to venture into "serious" film work, which is where this stock shines.

One of the best films still available
Possibly my new favourite film. The grain is simply non-existent while retaining the film look and amazing colours. It is a very versatile film and will look good for every occasion. Looks even better when viewed on a slide viewer. I found it very good for street photography, photos look cinematic. You would never get the look of Provia straight out of a digital camera. Instead of buying that mega expensive DSLR, buy a cheap film camera and Provia instead. The film and processing together is a bit pricey but worth it considering you can own tangible slides that will last forever. This is one of the only slide films still available and I hear the future of Fuji film is in doubt so shoot some slides on this while you still can. It would be horrible if Fuji discontinued this.

Film was out of date
Film was out of date - says "Process before 2021.02", 10 months ago. Very disappointed. Beware.
