Q: Does this mix well with soy?

I'm relatively new to candle making and so have only so much experience but the short answer is yes different kinds of wax are commonly melted together to make candles.

Q: Can I just put the pellets in the jar with wick?

I don’t see why not; the product video shows at the end two jars with just the pellets and lit up

Good to try

I've never used paraffin for candle making before so thought I'd give it a try. It melts smooth and holds up well to added scents and colors. I gave some as gifts but haven't burned any for myself yet. I am not sure I would purchase paraffin again though as it isn't really beneficial to me cost-wise versus using other types of wax.
