Ortega Black Beans, Original Flavor, 15 Ounce (Pack of 12)

Every can contains very fresh beans. I love the flavor; and they've never been mushy. Great in salads, casseroles, and on burritoes, chimichangas, etc.

I cook rice and add these.i sometimes add chicken and always spice them.

Ortega refried beans - 16oz cans, pk of 12. I purchased these for friend that could use some help with shelf stable stuff. Amazon makes it very easy to help her! She loves these refried beans - Ortega brand. Will be useful for nachos and other recipes. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. These arrived in perfect condition and are fresh. We can't get them locally but they are our favorite. So glad we found them here. The price was affordable too.

Fair price for a kitchen staple.

Good product then price doubled overnight so I have to lesson star review due to price gouging.

Bought a case ! Great in soups

I really like beans and have tried several varieties of black beans. These have been the best by far. They are consistently good. I add them to many meals and also just eat them on their own. Would highly recommend for those that enjoy good beans.

Shoddy. Tin arrived in a large otherwise empty cardboard box, so bashed it was impossible to open with a can opener. Might have been a nice product, guess I'll never know.
