One thing that influenced our decision was that while we know the NoseFrida is probably a little more effective and plenty of parents say it's hygienic, we just couldn't get over the idea of sucking mucus through a tube with our mouths. The GROWNSY felt like a good compromise, and honestly, it's always gotten the job done for us. Our son wasn't a huge fan of it as a baby and would fuss during cleanouts, but now that he's older, he actually sits through it pretty well because he seems to understand that it helps him breathe better. That's been a pleasant surprise. PROS - We've been able to use the same device from the newborn stage through toddlerhood by changing the tips and suction level as he grew. - Easy to clean and much more convenient than the manual options. - Gets enough mucus out that we notice a real difference in his breathing afterward. Cons - Not every baby will tolerate it right away.
