Awesome product, made wonders ! Great Seller !
I had a great experience with this seller and the product. The azomite arrived withing 3 days of purchase , actually a day earlier than it was estimated. So , thanks a lot for the fast shipment !The product itself is great. I use it on my tomato plants and I also took it as a supplement. We live in the foothills of Denver, CO , approx. 8500 ft. above sea level. Last year we build a green house so we can extend the growing season . The dirt unfortunately is poor on organic matter and we had to add some compost. Seemed though that it wasnt enough and adding some more minerals was the other option. So we bought Dr. Wallach's minerals which are a lot more expensive than pure azomite. This minerals made a wonder to our tomato plants. This year though we were late with transplanting the plants to the green house due to weather. It snowed until end of May . By the time we were ready to transplant the tomato plants they were dying . Shortly after that I found that azomite is the same ash and comes from the same mine in Utah , that Dr.Wallach gets his minerals, just a lot cheaper than his. I ordered the 5lbs bag . The way I used it the first time was making a hole close to the root and pouring about a table spoon of the azomite. Afterwards I watered. Within a week my dying plants have grown in height and the greenhouse started to smell like tomatoes. Ever since I supplemented my tomatoes two more times where I just sprinkled some azomite on top and watered afterwards. Now a month later some of the plants have tomatoes, others are blooming. They all recovered and are growing like crazy . The leaves are with nice deep green color and the fragrance is stronger.Taking it as a supplement I experienced some weight loss (which I don't mind) . I think it's because the minerals in azomite help the body to assimilate all vitamins and I don't need to eat more. We eat all organic, but the soil is so depleted that eating organic alone is not enough and we need to supplement. It has also a cleansing effect but it needs to be taken with more water .I also used it as a facial mask and I'd say it's a natural face lifter .So, overall I am more than satisfied with this product and I strongly recommend it .

for garden use
We have some pots we need to boost the soil for this year's use. This does a good job and will be used when we get everything together. Delivery was prompt and in good order even thought the outer envelope was torn, the inner envelope was without damage.

IT IS SOURCED FROM VOLCANIC ASH............
AZOMITE IS A SOURCE FOR THE TRACE MINERALS PLANTS NEED. I LIKE IT AND USE IT, BUT IT'S CONSISTENCY IS VERY FINE. I WOULD RECOMMEND MIXING IT WITH COMPOST AND MANURE IN A WHEEL BARREL AS IT TEND TO BLOW EASILY AWAY IN THE WIND (IT'S NOT EXACTLY CHEAP). MY CONCERN AS AN ORGANIC FARMER IS THAT IT IS A NATURAL PRODUCT MEANING IT CAN CONTAIN MORE THEN YOU BARGAINED FOR. USE IT SPARINGLY UNTIL YOU FIND A MORE CONTROLLED SOURCE OF MICRONUTRIENTS.

For plants...
I ordered 5 lb of Humic Acid fertilizer and this 5 lb of Azomite mineral powder. This is primarily for my bamboo project, which can be tough to grow in the desert, but I have used it on other plants as well. Product arrived in a fairly thick and zip lock resealable plastic bag. The instructions are primarily directed at commercial agricultural use, though based on what I read for potted plants I created the following formula.Using an old gallon milk jug, I added 1 cup of Humic Acid and 1 cup of Azomite to create one gallon of black concentrate liquid. It expands a bit, so be sure to release any excess air. The Azomite tends to settle, so shake it up before using. To use it I add about a cup of the mixed and shaken concentrate to a two gallon watering can full of water. Stir it up and water the plants with it. Most plants should only need it about every month or two. It's not fertilizer, so you can't overfeed this stuff, but there's no point in wasting it either. It's too early to judge the results on bamboo, but it seems to have rejuvenated my slowly fading potted flowers, so I'm going with a five star rating for now.

Great soil amendment
A great addition to the garden, there are many uses for Azomite, works well as a feed additive for livestock but I got it for the mineral content for plants. Soil need to be replenished with minerals, they get washed out by rain or over farmed and the plants suck all the nutrients out of the soil. You may have heard how todays food has lower nutritional content, much of that is to do with over working land without replacing minerals.Plants at the store look good, grown with proper Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and water but lack the trace minerals that isn't apparent. That's why I have chose to grow my own produce, know what you are getting. You can take a mineral supplement but its most of it isn't chelated and bio-active like they are in plants. Plus there are other medicinal compounds in plants that require those minerals to synthesize, hollow foodThis is a cheap solution to this problem, waters in or best worked into the soil prior to planting.

It Works and It's Good
I add a teaspoon of azomite powder to a smoothy/drink I make. Maybe it's because of its minerals but when I take it with Shane Ellison's protein powder, I have a noticeable level of energy that lasts until the early afternoon (I take it in the morning). And don't worry -- it's perfectly edible. I've taken it like 30 times (a guess) and I've never gotten sick, nauseated, etc., in any way. It's very fine grained actually, too. It reminds me of the sand in Cancun. It's more like a powder than sand, though. So yea, it's easy to add to smoothies and the like. And it's only very, very slightly gritty -- at least that's been my experience with it. It's actually a great supplement to add to shakes, smoothies, etc. So sure, while it says it's a garden supplement basically for plants, it's great for humans too.
