Scanner is Garbage, Windows Driver Won't Install, Exercise in Frustration
Well, I bought this printer because I was tired of fighting with my old HP Inkjet. I print very infrequently (like a few times per year) but I'm a graphic designer and I regularly need to scan artwork. Sooo... this seemed like a good choice. It prints fine, unfortunately, the scanner is just complete garbage -which means that it also doesn't work as a copier. Attached is a scan - it's just a page of warnings that came with the printer, but it's so light that you can't see anything. Totally unacceptable. Same thing happens when you try to make a copy. If you crank up the darkness on the copy settings via the little keypad, you can make it a little bit better, but there's still a big white section in the middle - not OK.I can't adjust any of the scanner settings because I can't install the Xerox software. It came with a CD/DVD, but my computer doesn't have a CD/DVD drive. So I downloaded the "SmartStart" driver from Xerox, but it can't "discover" the printer (using Windows 11 for reference.)So I'm just completely stuck. I'm going to try contacting Xerox, but I think I'm just going to have to return this. I'm really disappointed and grumpy because I really NEED the printer to get my taxes done.Anyhow, I'd suggest saving yourself some trouble and buying something else.

Set up when without issues and it seems well made.
I haven't had this Multi-function Printer long, a few weeks but so far I like what I see. It seems well made. I've spent many years in IT and I've used Xerox printers before and they worked well so I thought I'd give Xerox a try after my HP Multi-function Printer died after about 18 months, the HP before that died in about 2 years as well.I've owned several HP Multi-function Printers but recently they seem to lack quality they used to have and one way or another they became unusable.I hope to get several years out of this Xerox.

Starter Toners awful
I like everything about the printer except the lifespan of the toner cartridges that were shipped with the machine. Normally starter toners that ship with the machine are about half of standard capacity upgrades. The standard capacity toners are good for 1500 pages, so I was expecting to get about 7-800 page toner cartridges. They were much lower at only 500 pages. On top of that, I have printed 130 pages thus far and my black and cyan toners are alerting they need replacement, and the yellow and magenta are 25% or less capacity. I ordered some replacement high capacity toners for more than the machine itself cost. ($450) They are rated at 2500-3000 pages, so based on my experience thus far, I expect to get only 500 pages out of those! Maybe not worth it... we will see

Toner is Already Low (less than 100 pages)
The toner is already low after only like 100 pages printed. Amazon delivered the device in its original packaging, so I was worried that it would be stolen or damaged, but neither occurred, but still didn't really want to advertise to everyone that I had a new Xerox. The set up was easy enough, and getting it to run with my laptop was painless. This unit replaces an inkjet/scanner/copier and color laser printer, so nice to have this all combined into one device. I have not had a chance to use technical support so I cannot say what the rating is for that. I only give 4 stars for the lack toner.

nice features
Nice feature set at good price. Consumables aren't cheap but far cheaper than inkjet!

Broke completely 6 months after purchase
Bought this printer in January 2023 for a small business. By July it was unusable. The rollers cause paper jams, which I see others have had a problem with as well. By July the printer would not feed paper through at all. It jams every time we attempt to print. Customer service has been terrible. We followed the directions to contact Xerox customer service and it says they will respond within 24 hours. We have done this 3 times and there has been no response at all. The ink is very expensive but the quality when it worked was great. The sad thing is we have 2 printers at my office. One that is a workhorse but just does black and white and this one for high quality printing in color. This printer was used minimally a few prints a day (10-20 pages), and it broke that quickly. I have had this business for 23 years. I have never had such a bad experience with a printer in all that time and our previous high quality printer worked for about 10-11 years. I will not buy another printer from this company after this experience and I would not recommend this printer.
