Great Mouse But Has One Huge Issue
Overall this mouse is comfortable (if a bit heavy) and has tons of buttons that are great for customization. The only thing I do not like about this mouse is the quality of the rubber padding on the scroll wheel. I am currently on my second one of these because the very first one I bought had the circular rubbing padding for the scroll wheel come loose to the point where it essentially tore off. I assumed this was a one-off scenario and bought a second one. Lo and behold nearly a year later I am having the same issue again. The quality of this padding is very poor and needs to be addressed by Razer especially for a mouse that is $50 UPDATE - 1/1/2025: I have bought this product THREE SEPARATE TIMES and the loose textured rubber mouse wheel issue has come up again. Consumers should not have to buy a product three different times for a big issue like this to consistently come up. To be clear, the mousewheel starts out fine, but eventually the textured rubber part of the mouse wheel separates from the mouse wheel itself over time which leads to slippage when using the scroll wheel. I am officially DONE with this product and will never purchase this mouse again. Insane that this issue has not been addressed by Razer.

Hardware good, software mediocre
Update: I have since thrown this mouse away. The poor software and inability to save lighting profiles on the mouse, which causes it to do some stupid rainbow light show any time the computer is asleep, have made it unbearable. The mouse is good, feels good in the hand, buttons are in good positions, cord is very light. Sadly the software is very lacking. The fact that you can save button configs to the onboard storage, but NOT lighting is very annoying. It doing this stupid rainbow light show whenever the computer is asleep or just booted up but not yet logged into, is awful. It has legit made me question whether to keep the mouse. Also the fact that this requires Razer Synapse 3, while the Orbweaver keypad I bought two years ago requires Synapse 2, and you have to have both open in order for them to work, is just frustratingly bad design. Seems like the order of the day for Razer. Solid hardware, absolutely awful software.

Great mouse productivity + gaming
This mouse feels very good (I really like the textured rubber. The scroll wheel is great and you can change it in the razor software to toggle infinite scroll. I use this for work+light gaming. Overall a superb mouse at a great price. Only downside is the razor software (synapse+chroma) can be convoluted at times.

Excellent quality product but the included documentation is unreadable to the extent it is insulting
This is an unusual situation where you have an excellent, high quality product sold at a fair price which basically destroys the customer experience due to the included instructions that are unreadable to the extent that they are insulting ( The documentation is printed in 4 point off white text on a black background with many intermingled languages (as best I could tell) and is such that no one I showed it to could read it. ). I have many mice and have decades of experience, both professionally, as an EE, and personally, with many electronic products and I have to say that Razer (ordinarily a top company) has hit a new low with this documentation. They would have been better off including NO documentation or maybe tell you in large black print on white paper where to find the documentation (but not just a QCode!) What compounds the issue is that this mouse is so high function that you really need to read some documentation to know how best to use it. If I was a design engineer who worked hard to design an excellent electronic product, I would be furious that Razer essentially insulted my work by including this ridiculous unreadable documentation. Whomever came up with the design of this documentation, should be fired immediately. So, I recommend that you do not buy this product unless you are willing to go to great lengths and work to find readable documentation. Very unfortunate situation for an excellent piece of hardware (so hats off to the engineers!) and so unnecessary and easily fixable. Usually, Amazon, realizes that my reviews are meant to be helpful, passes them on to the manufacturer, and I hope they do in this case.

"Like New" Used Mouse, Damaged on Arrival.
Do not buy this used. The mouse itself is comfortable and nice, but the scroll wheel is mechanical. This causes issues, I purchased this mouse used and according to amazon it was in "Like New" condition in its original packaging. I chose this option because it is over half the price brand new and I expected it to be "Like New." I received it today in a bag with the original box inside looking as if it was wide open during transit letting the mouse bounce and bang around, and while it looks good on outside there is an issue with the scroll wheel. It is loose, meaning with my two fingers I can wiggle the scroll wheel left and right as if it got jarred out of place either during delivery or rated incorrect quality at the Amazon warehouse. So the mouse only scrolls correctly if I press the scroll wheel to the left of the mouse while scrolling, and nothing is solved switching between free-spin and the tactile spin modes. I am VERY disappointed in what I received. Damaged on arrival for something Amazon advertised to me as "Like new."

Breaks VERY easily
Looked nice and felt nice. I don’t use my computer often, maybe once or twice a week for less than an hour each time. No heavy duty gaming. Then the scroll wheel seemed to break and it would scroll on its own. All my settings were fine, we updated the mouse, tried to fix it, but nothing worked. THEN the right click button broke and it only right clicks when it feels like it. Don’t waste your money on this, buy a different mouse 👎👎👎 I’m very disappointed since I liked other Razer products

Fantastic mouse for those who like it heavy.
I'm an avid PC user and rarely replace my accessories. My mouse especially was hard to replace, as every top end mouse seems to get lighter and lighter. However, after using the Basilisk V3, I can safely say this mouse has been a perfect upgrade from my 2013 Deathadder. It weighs roughly the same, being on the heavier side for a mouse, and that's perfect for me. It's built great, has a fantastic braided cable which is smooth to the touch, it doesn't catch on corners like the older Razer cables, and the RGB is stellar. I really like the ring of RGB that goes around the base, and it's incredibly easy to edit in Razer Synapse. The mouse is also extremely comfortable. I didn't expect a thumb rest to do much, but I'll honestly miss it if I ever have to upgrade. For the price, you really can't go wrong. This mouse is incredible for its price point and well worth investing in if you like to 'feel' your mouse movements.
