Great improvements!!
Great improvements have been made so that it fits into the rails of the Wrangler JL. Therefore, double-sided tape and adhesive are not required. However, it feels a little tight to the rail, and there is a concern that the mounting part will crack due to deterioration over time or due to climate.add commentsI found one problem after using it over time. The part that covers the A-pillar is in a floating state, so if you drive for about 60 miles, the wind pressure will interfere with the A-pillar and generate noise. Therefore, it can be installed simply by inserting it into the rail, but it is uncomfortable to put some cushioning material on the surface that contacts the A pillar or fix the part that contacts the pillar with double-sided tape, and suffer from noise of unknown cause. It disappears.

Don't waste your money!
I got this for my 2018 jeep wrangler. The item is meant to slide onto your molding as a rain guard and it will not fit. I bought one and they cracked into pieces while sliding them on and even when I slide them on, it leaves a hole for rain to still drip. I thought it was installation error so I bought another. NO! It is not installation error. The guard will either not slide onto your molding correctly or it cracks. Even when it does slide on, you either have a hold for rain to still drip down or when you push it past that molding to hold tight, it breaks. Don't waste your money!

So far, so good
As many other Wrangler JL owners, we can all agree that the factory rain gutter system just sucks. Whenever it rains, it pours right into the cabin and onto your pants when you're getting in/out of the vehicle, leaving spots sometimes on delicate material clothing, and making a mess inside the vehicle. I found these rain gutter "extensions" and after much consideration, figured I'd try them. I'm glad I did! The installation was pretty easy - I did not remove the top, I just got on a step stool, slid the extensions onto the factory top gutters, and make sure it CLICKS into place (may take a little force but be gentle not to risk cracking the extension). I then used the included adhesive to squeeze some out onto the crevice where the extension and gutter meet, and used my finger to smooth it out as best as I could. This helps to make sure they stay put, and also to make sure it's as water-tight as possible. My jeep is all black, so if you don't know that they're there, you hardly notice them. I haven't noticed any whistling while driving, nor at speeds over 60mph. Seems to do the job without breaking the bank, and looks fairly sleek/integrated. I do recommend this product!

Works with some trimming, 2020 SkyOne Touch, Wrangler
Works great with a small amount of trimming. Driver side needs more trimming because of the tight fit. Plastic actually kicks downward towards the door trim. I had to trim that piece off the gutter and now it closes great with no water leaking into the Jeep. I used a popsicle stick to smooth out the adhesive so that I didn't get any on my hands. I use about a quarter inch square of the adhesive on both gutters.

Does not fit with sunrider top
The media could not be loaded. This is pretty pricey for what it is. The plastic is pretty cheap and long term longevity is questionable. For five bucks, I'd be OK with them but twenty is robbery. The biggest issue is that these do not fit securely on the gutters if you have a sunrider top. The gutter profile is different and these just pop right off.

Worked well for a week or two.
These seemed to install fine and work well for the first week or two, but then while driving at highway speed, we heard what sounded like something let loose and was flapping. We pulled over and looked all around and under the Jeep and couldn't find anything loose until we looked at these. They had been installed properly and seated well but just did not stay that way at the higher speeds. Where it slides into the rain channel, it twisted slightly and that's when they loosened up. I promptly removed them and the noise went away and we have not put them back on since. I believe the design needs a little more work.

Tired of getting wet when you open the door on your Jeep when it's raining? Then you need these!
2018 Jeep Wrangler Sport JL... the fit is very good and easy to install. I did add some double-sided tape on the curved end to insure it stayed put at highway speeds.
