I have two raised beds on my shaded porch. I bought this light to provide some supplemental lighting. I loved the light. I thought it was bright enough to illuminate both of my raised beds. The problem I had was that the solar panel is on the back of the light. So I could never find a place that got enough sun on my porch. I think I looked at so many lights on amazon, that I confused myself. I thought this light had a separate solar panel that I could leave in the sun. And I thought I could hang this light from the ceiling of my porch. This light requires a pole. Also, I had issues with my remote when I first opened the box. One of the springs in the battery compartment was bent and my remote never worked. I contacted customer service about this and they replied right away. They offered me a replacement remote. And when I asked them what kind of pole I should buy, they went above and beyond to try to help me. In the end, I decided to return it because my porch has limited space and I didn't think the pole would work out. But they made the refund process super easy. The agents are fast, friendly and helpful. I wouldn't give a second thought about ordering from this company again! Some of the best customer service I've seen on Amazon! So I'm giving 5 stars!

I thought this light was great. It was exactly what I wanted. I did learn that the sun doesn't shine as brightly in the fall as it does in the spring. Make sure you have a unobstructed area so it can charge.

Did not like the remote,, I had to dig out the battery contacts on one side with a screwdriver it was wedged in all cattywhomper. To contact them I had to e mail but did not get a response. Unless the response is lost in junk mail. Once the light was installed it looks professional. I’m using it for green house and raised bed vegetable gardens

The light is prefect for our low light garden area, and lasts the 4 hours we need. Haven't tested the limit to how long it can go, but it does what I need. I wish it had come with the actual pole and mounting kit for the light. I ended up buying PVC and screwing it in the the side of my roof and it works fine, but a pole and bracket for my house or the pole I wanted it on would have been nice. Update to review, the company reached out within a day of the original review and gave me a reference for the pole and bracket to be able to purchase them from another business on here. Very quick to respond, actually spoke back and forth. I gave an original 3 star, then after the bracket and pole I would give a 4 star.. then with the great quality of customer service and response time. This purchase was completely worth it. Nothing gets 5 stars unless I know the customer service is also there to follow up! I highly recommend the purchase, just understand what you're getting and what doesn't come with this.

Saying it has a timer is a loose interpretation. You cannot select a cycle, you can't time it. It only has some poorly integrated options to run for 4 6 or 8 hours of time. Therl inherit storage capacity is awful, so if you want it to run for 8 hours, it won't. Further, you can't run it during the day as a grow light, because it needs the full day of sunshine to run. In our use, we wanted to add light to part shade area of your yard during the day for fruit growth, but it can't do this, and honestly it's not bright enough anyways.The remote is of laughable build quality, and also not intuitive. but don't worry, you get no real instructions either. You figure out how to work it by smashing buttons and seeing what happens.Bad product. Definitely not a grow light, they've added that to increase sales. It's a motion light for a garage/alleyway, and would be minimally effective at that.

The media could not be loaded. Very pleased with this product. My greenhouse only gets three hours of direct sunlight this time of year, but it still gets fully charged. I have it set to run for five hours after dark at full power. It does that nicely. I haven't tried it at the eight-hour setting because I really won't need that setting for my purposes. The device seems to be very well built. It is heavy for a solar light. It is designed to be mounted of a pole or building but I came up with a simple solution for hanging it in the greenhouse (see the video). I plan to buy a few more to completely light the entire greenhouse.

Easy to use and set up. I have it inside a greenhouse which is partially shaded by a tree and use it just to extend the daylight as the days get shorter without having to run electricity. I was nervous about the timer being hard to use, but it was fine. Just checked it the first few days to make sure it went on. I set it for 3hrs and idk if I actually get the full 3 hours, but even on cloudy days, I still get at least 90 mins which is fine for me. Bought one to try it out and ended up buying the second one I needed. My plants are very happy.

I have been so disappointed with about 3 to 4 solar lights. I wasn't expecting much and the price was higher.This is truly like a solar street light with grow light qualities. I don't know if my green house is benefiting from this light but it's very strong. The green house is LIT up once night comes.
