Another hot Cole brother.Jared and Fiona have been best friends forever, but when Jared moved away to start his baseball career they sort of lost touch. But when Jared needs help to get his image back out of the gutter and he asks her to pretend to be his fiance she of course says yes.The more time they spend together the more they can't deny their feelings.A brilliantly written story with excellent characters and a happy ending guaranteed.

What Could Possibly Go Wrong? Everything!
Of course he had issues. Didn't mean he was allowed to be a complete jerk. This was his best friend. He gets drunk with his teammates and has a bunch of girls surrounding him, he forgets all about her and leaves her all by herself in a bar in a big city. And that was after he brought her to Boston and she had a week of not having much time alone with him. Talk about being a selfish jerk. It was definitely a great read. The one thing that wasn't mentioned was why did she broke off her first engagement? Nothing was mentioned after he blew up and accused her cheating.

friends to lovers hits a home run
Oh man. A fake relationship. I’m always worried with this type of book because it can go either way. You either get the very clinical relationship or the friends to lovers. This book was so great in how it handled this trope. Best friends who has minimal contact through the years. One needed a huge favor from the other. I loved the dynamic of these two because even though time had passed they were still best friends. Fiona have as foot as she got. Jared was quick to accuse but almost as quick to realize his mistakes. The author has mesmerized me with this silly little town. I want to meet all the people and see all the side character we have met get their HEA. Don’t miss out on North Haven and Cole brothers.

Alright, I liked the story, definitely cute. It felt rushed and had literally no timeline though. Like it supposedly started in the fall and ended in the spring but no mention of holidays or timeframe at all.Not only that but the characters realized they were in love with each other multiple chapters after declaring their love for each other and acted as if they hadn’t said anything at all when they took their relationship from fake to real..? I think it definitely needs to be edited and looked over again because it didn’t make sense.

Quick story, low angst
If you are looking for a quick read and can suspend disbelief, this book is for you.The entire plot line hinges on the idea that the H has bad press and his minor league baseball team wants him to clean up his image. Minor League baseball?!? I don’t think paparazzi care all that much about major league players unless they’re a high profile player, but minor league? Once you get past that hurdle, it’s a pretty typical fake fiancée plot.
