Cheap enough to get the job done but makes buzzing sound
It works well enough for the compatively cheap price for a humidifier of this size. It is much easier to fill than all my others - it opens on top which is nice, I bring a bowl of water into the room and dump it in.The “max fill line” is about a centimeter to an inch more than it can actually handle. When you fill it this high, it causes the machine to flash the L M buttons and not turn on. Through trial and error (and desperation and heavy usage and lack of money to replace the unit) If you only fill it about an inch below you won’t have any issues. Make sure the top is dry too if you’re having issues getting it to turn on.The backlight only is blue which is a little disappointing that you can’t change the color - but at least it has a back light. It’s a pretty night light. To turn it on off you hold the button 3 seconds - mine didn’t come with any instructions so for the first week or two i didn’t know how to turn the light off which was annoying at night as it is fairly bright. The “H” for high light on my unit stopped working- for me now I know that if there’s no light it’s on high :) not ideal but since I only use it on high it’s whatever. It empties out a bit quicker than I’d like - guess that means it’s doing it’s job but for an 8-10 hour sleep I could use one for my bedroom about triple the size. Not sure they make anything that big especially not on a budget. When I have it on a while i do tend to notice a “ringing” or “buzzing” sound - i don’t know if i could fall asleep with it without earplugs. Luckily i live in an apartment complex with a fairly high noise level to begin with, so i can’t sleep without earplugs anyway. Your mileage may vary if your home is quiet, I could see this being a bit of a nuisance. For loud city apartments, with any ambient car or neighbor sound - you won’t notice anything. It’s very subtle.Really can’t complain too much with the minor issues given how cheap this unit was for its size compared to others. 5/5 on price. Hope it keeps working as I can see the minor issues so far leading to bigger ones down the road as it does overall seem a bit cheaply made, but at this price point what do you expect? Overall it was worth the money. I would recommend given the caveat that the buzz / ringing sound could be annoying to someone used to a quiet bedroom or who doesn’t sleep with ear plugs like I do.

First vaporizer you can fully clean
One of the reasons I have had to trash vaporizers in the past as not because the motor burns out but because they are impossible to clean! This vaporizer you can take apart literally every aspect of it wash, sanitize, and completely dry out in between uses. It also disperses the essential oils very well in my opinion and The reservoir has never ran out of water. first one was bought for my daughter who has respiratory issues with asthma and allergies. Buying another one for my bedroom! It really is amazing I have probably been through four or five vaporizers/cool misters at this point because they were impossible to clean. Completely worth every dollar.

Replacement came broken
Ordered this for a nursery and it worked okay for a short time. Was given a replacement motor, which was great. Except I just now opened the box (I waited because we didn’t need humidifier in warm weather) the motor came broken. Small white pieces on bottom were cracked and loosely in the package. Guess it’s my fault for waiting until we turned the heat back on. But not my fault it’s broken or malfunctioning the first time. . Unfortunately my return window closed and now I’m out of whole product. Won’t be buying from the company again.

Such a cool design, but with flaws
The design of this thing is so clever, and every part the water touches is easy to clean. I know there are other reviews about a tube that can't be opened, but that's for wires, not water. If water is in that tube, something has gone wrong. The white column sits inside of the frosted bucket of water and only lets in a bit of water, so most of the white column is filled with air. It must be locked down in the bucket, because it wants to float. For cleaning, the white column comes apart and exposes all the workings for easy access.Unfortunately, the top of unit (the electronic control part) is not sealed. There are warnings about not tipping the whole unit, or even the white column, but the problem is that this is a humidifier, and that's the path for the mist. It will put moisture into the air up in that area by design. Within two days, the touch control was acting wonky and not actually responding. We were VERY careful never to tip the unit or pour water high up on the column, and I'm not even sure if the problem was related to water getting where it shouldn't. In fact, unplugging it and plugging it back in fixed the problem, but it just did not inspire confidence.Another thing that I did not like, but would have accepted, is that a power cycle outage resets the whole thing. If you have a power outage in the middle of the night, even if it's just a small power blip, the humidifier will stop. You'll have to get out of bed and turn it back on, if you're even aware that it happened.

AWESOME - 4 months of daily use - NO mold in mine at all. would give 10 stars if possible
It is easy to clean, quiet, has a night light that can be turned off. Four months of daily use (in Colorado, dry state) with NO mold/pink stuff. I cleaned it the first time today after 4 months of daily use. Took 3 minutes, easy to do. I am not adding anything to the tank, just tap water. We found the "silver sticks" (claim to be anti mold) actually made mold worse in a different humidifier we have that needs cleaning once a month at least for pink goo. But this unit is GREAT for us, works and no mold.** FYI - the "sealed middle piece" some talk about (one person gave it 1 star because they don't understand how the unit works) is the air INPUT channel, which is the POSITIVE air pressure INTAKE - NOT moist air out. (See pic) It blows air INTO the unit, and should never have mold as it does not have moisture input and is forcing room air INTO the unit. It only houses the fan. Only the bottom 1 inch of the inside tower actually has water in it, and that area is fully accessible and easy to clean. Very well designed unit, buying a second to replace our other one.
