Great slushy maker!!!
Originally my 14 yr seemed disappointed because he was complaining it was too slow.. (it had been 20 seconds🤣) Then after about 30 seconds he started seeing ice. This cup makes a slushy within one minute if you freeze the cup. We have a deep freezer we use and it works like a charm! The consistency is perfect, super duper soft exactly like a fluffy snow cone, and it works for basically anything you put in it! He's used chocolate milk, unfrozen Popsicles, soda, and kool aid so far. I told him, "if you want I can return it, since it's so slow!" He immediately took back his complaining and now he uses the cup daily. He loves the big spoon stirrer it comes with. He takes care and doesn't lose a piece. He even uses the stirrer for cereal, lol. He really likes. My younger sons beg to borrow it. My oldest had it on his christmas list, and the little ones didn't. LolIt cleaned very easily too. The slushy cup holds a good amount but it's not super big. I tried counting ounces and I believe it holds 12 ounces of water without overflowing. 16 ounces would've overflowed it for sure. Seemed like 13 would overflow. Try for yourself with a measuring cup like I did. Seems like enough for one person. The cup has water inside it that shakes around. I hope it supposed to do that, because I wasn't the one who opened the package to even notice how it came. Cup seems very hard to break, I hope. Also we've made 1 slushy then dumped it in a cup and quickly tried to make a second one hoping we wouldn't have to freeze it again for a second one and it worked we'll but not super soft slushy like the first one. Still good.5 stars!

Fantastic!
I remembered having something similar as a kid in the 80s, so bought this on a whim for the day-before colonoscopy prep, as a popsicle alternative. Worked great! Used white grape juice and it was delicious. It does take just a very few minutes, but well worth the short wait. Stays frozen while eating. The long spoon that comes with it is a plus and perfect for intended use - much better than a regular spoon. The whole thing is easy to pull apart and clean, as well. Highly recommend. May even get a second, to always have one frozen and ready-to-go.

Works great
After the initial excitement the kids are done with it. They like the slush made from juice, but not as much as the actual thing from ice cream shops (probably with a lot more sugar). I've been using it daily though.Found out you can turn pretty much everything into a slush. Even soy milk lol. If it's sugar free you just need to add a teaspoon of sugar (no artificial). If you don't stir enough though the liquid tends to freeze solid on the wall and it's hard to scrape. Overall I still love it.Definitely go with jumbo size so you have the extra room to stir without spilling.

Takes a while for the slush to form, but it works
It works really well to take juice or a smoothie and make it into a slushy. However, it takes a while to slush a fy things. I bought it because I want to be able to use it for vegetable smoothies in other words smoothies that have kale in them and I cannot get them cold enough so that I don't taste the kale but this works very well. I wish it was bigger only that I'd like more of a serving, but for the size it does hold a lot and I like how it fits in my hands. It means that I'm able to get more vegetables in my diet because carrot smoothies are just weird, but if it's kind of hidden like ice cream, then it's kinda

The BEST SLUSHIE MAKER EVER
So we’ve had one other type of slushie maker.. you know the kind where toy squish the sides in after freezing it and it slowly turns the liquid to frozen slush. Well those are very subpar compared to this one. This slushie maker was a gift for my son’s 12th Christmas, since he loves them, and he was absolutely thrilled to have gotten it. It works great and makes slushies so much better than the other type of slushie maker. The price is a bit steep imo but it’s definitely worth it to me. Made my kid so happy and I’m going to order one for my husband and I as well since my kid won’t share his!! 😂

Slush cups
UPDATED REVIEW BELOW.... I had some old slush cups and thought a newer set might work better. Nope. These BARELY create a slush. Even when you follow all the directions. They sort of ice up - but - not nearly enough. Disappointing. I'm glad I held onto the old ones! PS - remember - you cannot use any drink that isn't sugared. Sugar free drinks will not work. We were using sugared soda pop. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I did accept as we donated the items. I do NOT accept free products and when this happens (I refund, full or partial, I report it. As noted, the items were all donated. I purchased 5 of them

One of the best slush cups!
This is so easy. Literally just pour and scrape the sides. I pour almost a full 12 oz. pop can in, let it slush up, then pour in the remainder all in less than 5 min. It beats getting out the blender and cleaning up the mess, this is definitely a quick fix. Can usually make/drink four before I need to put it back in the freezer.
