Sennheiser once again proved me that hands down is the go-to brand when you want reliability, affordable prices and most importantly quality. I did my fair research about this product in comparison with other brands and other headsets from sennheiser but I didn't expect to truly be blown away by it since I've owned sennheiser products over the years and well I'm used to them but this time around was the first I had a much fancier and bulkier headset for gaming and I'm very glad I chose this particular one. Ear cups are super comfortable and don't put any pressure on my ears or skull after hours of use, sound quality is just right for everyday use from long gaming sessions to just listening to music and videos, so don't get me wrong I'm sure plenty of you would rather pick studio quality headphones for all audiophiles out there and that is ok however if you are looking specifically for a gaming headset that doesn't compromise sound quality over comfort and gaming branded addons then this headset gets everything right, from size to volume to even how crisp the microphone is. This product guys I'm telling you is a decision you won't regret making and for the ones wondering what type of earcup cushions, these are open-ear (cloth) meaning you get plenty of sound coming from inside but you will not be 100% isolated from the outside world and possible noises that come from it so keep that in mind. For me its fine since I constantly have to talk to roommates and therefore I need to notice when I'm being spoken to.

These headphones have exceptional comfort. They fit over your ears and rest against your skull with just enough pressure to keep them in place. The padding is a felt like material and is very soft, with lots of cushion underneath. The top of the band also has a thick, soft felt patch on it as well. These are the most comfortable headphones I've ever used, they can be worn for hours without any pain or feeling hot. I use them for gaming and music. Sound quality is excellent, and the microphone works perfectly. Being able to flip up the mic to mute is very convienent, as is the volume control mounted on the right side ear piece. I originally bought my pair in November of 2011. They have held up great the last 6 years. You will not be disappointed if you purchase these.

I got this headset almost two years ago and for the most part I love it. The sound is great and it's comfortable for me. The one big issue I had with this headset is that the microphone snapped off on mine. The mic seems to not be the most high quality and durable plastic and jt snapped off where the rubber meets the plastic closest to the ear cup. Also, before it broke, I had used the mic in discord and games for about a year and I had a lot of issues with static sounds and being too loud or too quiet. I could never usually have a day where the mic didn't have some sort of issue. However since I was planning on upgrading to a desktop mic I'm fine with this and I've completely removed the microphone from the headset and now just use them as headphones. Overall very recommended due to sound quality but be wary of the mic if you're rough on your headsets.

I purchased this headset for $99 on Black Friday 2016 and it was worth it. I am by no means an audio expert just your average PS4/PC gamer. I have owned a couple headsets previously which were turtle beach's for around the same price as this headset. This headset is very comfortable around your ears and top of the head. The headset is also very flexible so it can be bent quite a lot without worry of breaking it. The sound quality is great and gets pretty loud. One thing I love about this headset is that it is open meaning you can hear both what you are listening to and someone speaking in the same room ( you can barely hear them with the sound all the way up ). I have used the mic for gaming on discord as well as taking calls on my phone. I was pleasantly surprised with the mic as the person on the phone call had no idea I was on a headset and thought I sounded fine even in a slightly noisy environment. I have to say that my favorite feature of this headset is the volume control. Tuning the volume is very intuitive, simply spin one way to lower the volume and the opposite to raise the volume. Other headsets come with many buttons or modes and that for me is redundant. In the $100 range this headset is a great buy.

When I opened the box I right away noticed some weird residue on the mic. I examined the rest of the headset and it had some pretty obvious signs of wear and tear. Also, the inside of the ear pads are dirty with what looks like and probably is dead skin from whoever was enjoying the heck out of this headset before I did, lol. I’m most surprised by how damn flimsy and cheap this thing felt, like if I wasn’t delicate enough with it that I’d snap something... But I still tried it out (for gaming on my PS4) and the sound is actually rather good, But definitely would not consider it great by any means. The microphone (even with that mysterious residue on it) sounded surprisingly crisp. Also, I found the headset to be extremely comfortable during my gaming session and for the first time ever my ears didn’t get uncomfortably warm like with every other headset I’ve ever worn for some reason, lol. Unfortunately, I’ll be returning this headset due to the bizzare condition it came in and it’s flimsy construction. Oh, and the cable is RIDICULOUSLY long...so if you’re a console gamer then just make sure your don’t mind a mound of bundled wire on your lap the whole time. Ugh, I’m so disappointed :[

Bonjour à tous , J'ai acheté ce casque durant le Cyber Monday à 50% de réduction donc à 99 au lieu de 200€ ! Je tiens à le préciser d'emblée je ne suis pas un expert dans les domaines qui touchent au son mais je peux vous dire que par rapport à mon ancien casque (basique) c'est le jour et la nuit.Je voulais quelque chose de fiable et de bonne qualité et je pense avoir trouvé mon bonheur. Le circuit ouvert permet de profiter d'un son Stéréo très agréable et clair , très précis même car je comprend beaucoup plus de mots anglais qu'avant. Dans l'ensemble je trouve que le rendu est très correct à ce prix la , la qualité du micro est au top et le bouton volume sur l'oreillette droite est bien pratique. Le colis a été livré dans les temps et dès l'ouverture cela respire la qualité , l'ensemble a l'air très solide malgré que ce soit en plastique. Les coussins en velours sont agréable au toucher et le casque agréable à porter. Voila donc je suis satisfait de mon achat car à ce prix la le rapport qualité/prix est excellent , cependant je ne pense pas que j'aurais passer commande si j'avais eu a l'acheter à son vrai prix (200€). ps4で使用しています。 初めてのヘッドセット購入ということで色々と調べてました！ マイク音質、軽い、開放型、そして耳が痛くならない。。当たり前ですがこちらを重点に。 ー付け心地ー メガネをかけてやることが多いので、こちらの商品は耳に当たる素材がフワフワしてるベロア素材というものらしく、とても付け心地がいいです！そして軽い♪ 購入したばかりの時は側圧が強かった感じだったので、少し幅がある箱に、使っていない時はヘッドセットを挟んでましたが、だいぶ馴染んでくれました！ ー音、マイク音質ー 初めてのヘッドセットなので、密閉型のタイプのヘッドセットとは比べた感想も出来ないのですが、 音も広がる感じですごく綺麗だし臨場感があって満足してます！ fpsにも使ってますが足音も聞き取りやすくていいです♪ マイク音質もゼンハイザーということだけあって、ノイズもなくとても良かったです【数人の方に聞いてもらいました】 ヘッドセットは、とても安く手が出しやすい物もあるし、もっと高価な物もたくさんありますが、自分のように初めてだけど、少しでもいいやつを、、という方にはすごくおすすめではないでしょうか。 軽くて、蒸れない、メガネをかけても痛くない♪ ゲーム用のアンプをこれから購入予定なので、こちらのゼンハイザーヘッドセットと組み合わせるのが楽しみです♪

Had this for about a month. Very good quality. I should have tried the Sennheiser brand a long time ago. Definitely the best gaming headset I have owned. The mic is not professional quality, but still very crisp and clear. The earcups can fit your whole ears in them and are super comfy. The open back means you can hear things around you with the headset on. You may need to dull the surrounding noise if you're looking for a fully immersive experience. But this makes the headset great for chatting. The mic feels like it has fragile moving parts so be careful when you adjust it, some claim to have broken it. Does not come with any special accessories except for the combiner adapter for cell phones. Overall I am extremely satisfied. I hope it lasts a while.

Ich habe mich für diese entschieden, da Sie zum einen einen AUX- Anschluss haben ( man sollte sich ne Sound-Karte holen ) und zum zweiten, weil sie im Angebot waren + dazu noch vonn Sennheiser, von denen gab es bisher nur Gutes. Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht, sie erfüllen meine Erwartungen in fast allen Punkten über 100%. Man hört Töne, welche man vorher nie so richtig wahrgenommen hat, die Mittel- und Hochtöne sind bestens zu SUPER. Die Bässe sind aufgrund der offenen Bauform etwas weniger druckvoll, aber trotzdem sehr stark vertreten. Was seltsam ist, wenn man gaaanz leise Musik hört, sind die Bässe sehr druckvoll, je lauter, desto weniger sind sie da ;) Für Musik aber trotzdem super und für Games sowieso perfekt. Ich finde der Sourround-Sound ( inkl. Soundblaster Soundkarte ) klasse, man kann eindeutig identifizieren, wo der Gegner her kommt. Ich spiele immer mal VR Games und dort hört man wirklich super, wo der Gegner her kommt ( Arizona Sunshine ) Der Tragekomfort ist unübertroffen. Durch die offene Bauform schwitze ich nicht + durch die Samt-Ohrmuscheln stören die Polster auch nach mehreren Stunden nicht. Die letzte LAN ( ja sowas gibt es noch ^^ ) war dadurch super für mich ;) kein zu enges sitzen, kein schwitzen o.ä. Der einzige kleine Nachteil an dem offenen HS ist, dass man halt die Umgebung noch hört, was auf einer LAN, oder irgendwo, wo es lauter ist, etwas stören kann. Da das bei mir aber sehr selten, bis nie, vorkommt, sehe ich das nicht so eng, daher trotzdem volle 5 Sterne ;) Insgesamt ein SUPER Gerät und wenn man Wert auf Qualität und Technik setzt, wird man hier gut bedient ( den Preis mal etwas hinten angestellt )
