MinnetonkaMen's Double Deerskin Soft Leather Sole Moccasin

Excellent quality, perfect fit
Excellent quality, good leather, well built, solid construction and comfortable. Double leather sole for padding and comfort. Durable for being outside in the yard, but would wear quickly if warn on pavement or concrete. The fit was perfect, I'll be buying a second pair soon.

Dear skin is BOSS....
My 4th pair. Like walking bare foot but with some padding. They last a very long time with miles of wear. The Dear Skin is soft , water resistant and very long wearing . No breakin time needed , fit right out of box. I have found from being a long time user, they seem a little bit more comfortable with a pair of socks , nuff said

Men's moccasins
Very durable moccasins. Like the color. Moccasins fit well and the cushioning makes them comfortable.

super soft and comfortable around the house
This is a very nice product - super soft and comfortable with the double layer, and extra in the heel where it will wear. That said, I think it wears a lot faster than the cowhide Minnetonka slippers that I've had in the past. So if you are wearing this around the house and expect a couple of winters service this will be great. Are deer hide so much softer and wimpy to wear around the house? Maybe - I don't know as a city dweller.

Super soft and well made for everyday wear
This is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn in my life. I literally didn't take them off when I went to bed. I forgot I even had them on. So light and soft yet somehow you know the way they are made that they are gonna last a long time. My papa had a pair and gave them to me I wore them another 5-6 years and this is my second pair in a different style and I'm just as impressed. Minnetonka has the win when it comes to knowing mocs.

Exactly What I Was Looking For
I wasn’t planning to spend $100 on an indoor shoe but these are worth it. The double deerskin sole makes all the difference. I can walk my dog outside on uneven grass without pain even from small stones and dirt in our country “pasture” grass here in Virginia. Size does run large - I usually wear 11 wide but after reading reviews here I ordered 10 medium and they were perfect. They stretched out in a couple of weeks and I needed to tighten them a little with the laces. The laces kept coming loose until I used a square knot pulled VERY tightly before finishing the bow. Worked great.Following the advice of another reviewer who claimed to be a Native American I treated them with saddle soap and mink oil. It worked great for waterproofing enough to make them comfortable in wet grass. It also made them more comfortable without socks. I’ve redone the mink oil several times and it really helps.Just for fun I’ve worn them shopping at Home Depot a couple of times. They were comfortable but I worried about wearing out the soles so haven’t done it much.Back when it wasn’t politically incorrect I loved to play “Cowboys and Indians” with my brothers. I was always the Indian sneaking quietly through the forest in moccasins. This fits a childhood fantasy- highly recommended!

Poor quality. Third world manufacturing
After many years of buying $25 slippers that lasted 12 months, I decided to splurge and buy these at over $100.4.5 months later, they are failing. They have never been worn outside, they’ve never been exposed to moisture, and I am gentle on my footwear. I weigh 180 pounds…not a huge heavy guy. Also, the company portrays itself as a proud American family business. Maybe they are headquartered in USA, but these are made in the Dominican Republic. So here we have another American “family business” that sold out the domestic worker to produce in a Third World country. Shame.Safe to say I’ll never buy this brand again and I regret not buying 4 pairs of cheaper slippers that would have lasted for 4 years, not 4.5 months.
