i wanted small prep bowls and these looked far too small for the job, so i shot a comparision image and scored it 3 for versatility.then i thought to put an actual food item in one, and a whole average apple - not the mini ones, not the huge ones, just average - fitted inside with room to spare.then i thought, hang on, i'm not likely to put an apple entire in it as prep. but if i chopped it? how much would fit?half an average apple, chopped onto roughly 1cm cubes.arrived very well packed for protection, all entire, in good time.a bit dear, and, in years to come i will likely continue to use them with pleasure when i have long forgotten the price.

Bought these to complement a graze board I made. They are well made, good quality and not overpriced for the quality. Great for olives, dips or slices of lemon in drinks. Good colours too

So, first-off these tiny bowls are extremely pretty: with two different blue-green finishes and patterns, and fluted edges, they make a lovely addition to a mezze table.The glaze on the bowls is an intense, deep colour and the swirling patterns evoke the ocean. There are a couple of tiny glazing 'faults' on one of them, but no more than I'd expect from handmade ceramics.Being made of stoneware, they are pretty robust: definitely not as delicate as the shallower porcelain dip bowls I already have in my cupboard. I've popped them through the dishwasher a few times, which they seem to have survived just fine.Yes, they are small (absolutely maximum of 8cm across). But that's fine as I wanted to use them sometimes as 'pinch pots' for spices, salt or pepper... Unfortunately, though, the patterns inside these particular bowls are actually raised. So while that makes them more interesting visually, as the glaze is deeper in some areas, it also means they are not smooth enough to be used for dry goods like ground spices.Never mind! I'll just pop in some nuts or olives and enjoy them mainly for their aesthetics!

Got these mini bowls for nibbles and I love them. They have a great quality and are easy to handle. Super quick delivery as well. I’m absolutely happy with the purchase and would recommend this product.

Very lovely little bowls but thought I would get multi colours but all one colour, however after mentioning it to the company there customer service was fab and they sent out another set of bowls which were all different

I am pleased with the bowls (and I did measure from the spec.) but they are very small, but I am sure I will find a use for them!

They're beautiful and would be perfect for serving dips/olives etc, however they came with the glazing crazed and even kept hearing the "pings" for first few days after opening. I guess you can still use them if you don't care, but technically the crazing makes them not really food safe :(

These bowls are very pretty. The marble art technique design and the color of the bowls are lovely. They have a smooth surface that makes them easy to wash just rinsing under water. They come in a nice craft box so would be a great gift. Really good and sturdy bowls, well worth the money.
