Just waiting to fight a giant mamba in my new gloves. I’m sure the glove will hold up to your average snake but I’m looking for the bid ones when I craw through the Amazon jungle! Hope these Amazon best will keep me safe from the bone crushing bite of the biggest snake.

These gloves worked and protected my hand from a love bite from my massive green Insularis Viper.Her bite never came close to getting through and I barely even felt the force of the hit.The material works as advertised.But be warned: if you use these gloves to handle at all, just be careful of the VERY short length on the wrist and forearm.If you're dealing with serious, high caliber snakes-- they're probably agile and fast. If they start climbing your wrist, they can make it to your skin in no time- and these gloves leave very little margin for error with your handling game. These will definitely help you, but this is not easy mode.These gloves work well but all that means is that your safe magin of error goes from none to very slim. You still very much need to be on your game for these to protect you effectively.

I live in New Mexico. We have rattlesnakes and tarantulas, which are beneficial to our ecology. It is best to remove them to a protected location.

Glove sleeve protection is thinner than I expected, but they do appear to be durable. Work outdoors where venomous snakes can be present and wanted to protect my hands and arms from any surprises. Anyway, the gloves fit well. I have a medium size hand and there is room for my hand to move inside the glove, but they do fit secure. I gave these gloves 4 stars because they are expensive. The glove is about 17 inches in total length from middle finger to cuff. The cuff area of the glove has a reflective non-adjustable band around it. Dexterity movement in the glove is limited being that it has reinforcement material on the hand portion of the glove. Hope for the best with these gloves.
