Tales from the DC Dark Multiverse II

Only about half of this is Dark Multiverse stories. The second half is reprints of Metal and Crisis. Not very necessary or fair. Its sold as Dark Multiverse stories, not recollecting old stories.

The first story was good. Then it took a massive nose dive in quality. I liked the first book, and I wanted to like this one. But it really fell flat. I want to be able to be proud of DC comics and share with friends. This book made me want to hide it from them. Never to see the light of day.

It's like the first one in that ot contains several dark "what if" DC stories. The stories are well drawn and well done. Still worth getting. Though like other reviews they also include the some of the original version comics. Probably for comparison reading.

I don’t think they all arrive like this (hopefully), but mine arrived with literally no page numbers written. It would be easy to lose track of where you are. Plus the table of contents is pretty much useless now

Solid stories, not as cool as first edition, but if you’re into Elseworlds’ lore than you’ll dig this. The inclusion of the original stories is a plus for reference, but disappointing because it’s half of the book.

Enjoyable series!!
