Inspiring book
This book was very well researched, inspiring and full of faith and hope. It's sometimes difficult to find out the details of miracles that paved the way to beatifications and canonisations so I appreciate the work of the author in this sphere. The writing was occasionally difficult to follow, with long sentences and lack of personal pronouns. It was also strange that the author recommended making a donation to various religious orders in return for prayers, I don't think that this is in that this is in the spirit of the Church at all.

Impressive, Faith Building and something to Ponder
I as really looking forward to reading this, and was not disappointed. There are tons of miracles in this book, some are outstanding, others smaller. I tend to be a bit rationalist and I test my Catholic faith and this book delivered what I as looking for. There were maybe a handful discussed that i figured it was plausible weren't true miracles, but most were just beyond any explanation other than by supernatural means. also good was that this book revealed to me that I live (in west PA) within a day's drive of the very places where some of these amazing men & women lived. St John Henry Newman was even (briefly, about 2 months) pastor of my home parish.

Saints are not out of style
Reading about the mysterious headings God permits through chosen saints gave me hope that I might find healing. Only problem is I don't know which one to ask. The author did a good job informing us about the different characteristics of each saint or holy people on the way to sainthood. Patricia writes in a way that is easy to read and she knows how to make the reader want to keep reading and not lay the book down. All in all, I would recommend this book to anyone with a curiosity about God's healing process through ordinary people who have become saints.

Wonderful book, very inspiring!
Was a little difficult to get "into", but as I read on, it became amazing!!!! We have people that were alive during our lifetime that are now Saints, performing miracles before and after their deaths. There isn`t ANYTHING short of a MIRACLE !

Nothing short of a Miracle
I love Patricia Treece writings. I ordered this book because I wore the one I had out.. Her writings of the saints is like talking with someone about a good friend. No fancy words just good talk. That's why I love her writing so much. But again I do wish they would give you at least one picture of each of the people the are talking about.... This causes me to do long searches on the computer to put some name with a face. Other than that I love all her books... A++++++ from me.
