VEVOR Stone Crab Cracker with 2 Seafood Forks Stainless Steel Construction Shell Shucker Easy Operation for Seafood Lobster

I live in Fort Lauderdale and eat my fair share of stone crabs. This device is simple to use and works like a charm. Otherwise, you need to crack the claws with a hammer/tenderizer. That's very messy and not quite as precise as this is.

I love this product! We live in Florida and eat stone crabs regularly. Most people get them cracked at point of purchase, but they stay fresher and taste better if you crack them right before eating. This device makes the job easy and fast. I put a dish towel beneath it (to absorb any liquid) and then cover the top while I crack so pieces don't fly off. I was recently in my favorite seafood market and noticed they were using this same device there!

I don't know what kind of stone crabs this device was made for but it clearly did not work. The unit was under designed and light weight. It could not stand up to the pressure needed to crack stone crabs. I took the unit to the Bahamas where the grow stone crabs. I guess they grow them too big and tough for this unit. I bought this to crack stone crabs which have a tough shell. This cracker worked perfectly. It is so easy to crack through the hard shell because of the leverage and the well made construction of the unit. It says it can do lobster and others.

Perfect tool to enjoy the seafood.

The promised seafood picks were not received in the shipment. The cracker is fine, but I did not receive the picks.

This cracker would not crack jumbo stone crabs with out putting a block under the horizontal arm. It works pretty good with a chunk of wood under the arm.
