A great wireless Keyboard & Mouse combi for the price
Great keyboard. I love the clickety sound the keyboard gives with a deep key drop which is great for a touch typist. The mouse is just ever so slightly light but responsive enough. The DPI adjustment buttons aren't really necessary and could be shortcuts instead. Once you've set the DPI, I feel you're not going to change it and it's an option in the settings of your operating system. The price is competitive against Logitech and personally I prefer this keyboard and mouse to the likes of a ยฃ100+ for a wireless mouse alone. USB adapter required for use. some keyboards use Bluetooth, but for reduced lag, the 2.4ghz dongle is a better device. The light's are great but would be great if the keyboard & mouse synced their colours. Both the Mouse and keyboard also Illuminate when charging so you know that it is in fact charging.

So far, so good
Pros: - The keys feel good - There is no input lag - Has all the keyboard shortcuts you need -Shares a receiver with a mouse which is a great idea -Lightโs turn off quickly when not used (about 2 mins off no use, might be a con for some people) Cons: - Relatively low battery considering quick sleep timer - Only 3 color modes, canโt set one static block color - Keyboard doesnโt remember your color setting, have to put it back to the color you like every time - Mouse is very now and too small for extended use so had to use another -Only charges via laptop, canโt use plug outlet to charge Overall a good inbetween keyboard while you search for a long term replacement

Good quality BUT lacks some important features of a wireless K&M setup.
Iโve had this keyboard and mouse combo for quite a few months now to really test it throughly. The keyboard: full review stated below good/bad points. Good points: - Has a dampened spongy click (not tactile) depends on personal preference. - has USB - C charging. - Nice small form factor. - RGB is colourful and bright. Things I donโt like: - battery life is below average (3-4 days) - no ability to customise RGB. Full review: It has a nice click to the keys , more of a soft spongy dampened type rather than the very tactile type click you get from other mechanical keyboards , the size of the keyboard is nice , not too big and features a num pad which I find useful , however thereโs some things worth noting that I really donโt like , The battery life is pretty poor and normally lasts me 3-4 days , not extremely bad but also not good either , the worst thing about this keyboard though is the RGB , the brightness is good and to be honest the colours look nice but the fact you cannot choose a solid green , red or blue colour is very disappointing , thereโs only 3 colour presets (shown in pictures) I just wish there was more customisation with the colours as it doesnโt match my setup at all. The mouse: Good points: - Nice feeling. - comfortable to use for long periods. - Good battery life (IME , 12-14 days) - nice shortcut buttons for DPI. Things I donโt like: - no RGB customisation , just rainbow or off. - noticeable latency when using wireless (only noticed in FPS gaming and is still fine for everyday tasks) Full review: It has a nice feel to it and I find it pretty comfortable to use for long periods of time , battery life is way better on the mouse than the keyboard and lasts me 12-14 days with the RGB on , however just like with the keyboard , thereโs no customisation with the RGBs thereโs just one preset (rainbow fade) I also like the shortcut buttons for increasing/decreasing the mouse sensitivity , wireless connectivity seems good and itโs never disconnected but there is a significant difference in latency when connected via USB - C so I wouldnโt recommend wireless if gaming. Overall , I do like the keyboard and mouse but I donโt think itโs worth the price unfortunately, if it was to go on sale for ยฃ30 - ยฃ35 then itโll be worth it but I was expecting more especially battery life. The reason for a 4 star instead of a 3 or lower is because it genuinely feels good quality but itโs lacking the most important features of a wireless Gaming mouse and keyboard.

Rubbish!
DO NOT BUY, MOUSE STOPS WORKING AFTER A FEW MONTHS OF USE AND THE KEYBOARD IS NOT VERY SOLID. NB, I have charged the mouse for twelve hours and nothing, it is 100 % faulty. The worst part is that this keyboard and mouse was a replacement since the last set had the same issues! Absolute garbage, not worth the money!

Great set. Looks great when all lit up.
Good value for money. Great quality keyboard and mouse. Looks really cool with the light up function. The keyboard is noisy to type on but itโs a really satisfying sound. Not heavy but good weight to it. Good functionality.

Good budget gaming setup, wireless too
I have to be honest in this feedback and cover the positives and negatives of this product. To start with it comes well packaged and even gave some free stickers, obviously trying to raise brand awareness by having stickers on your PC/monitor/etc. Keyboard is very functional and works well. Keys are a little spongy but it's not a mechanical keyboard so I can't fault them too much for that. Mouse works well has a very smooth feeling on my mouse mat, no issues going over the different colours on my mat. Overall for what I paid I feel it is a good product having the keyboard and mouse on the same receiver is handy also. As for gaming I feel it would be fine, I have had much worse keyboards and mice for twice the price. Another thing I really like is how the lights go through the text on the keys. My other keyboard was white text on a black background, this makes it much easier to type in the dark

Could be better!
I love the build quality for the price, and the options for the backlit colours are good. The keyboard also works well as a keyboard too. My gripes are the they backlight goes off quickly, so if you donโt have overhead lighting you canโt see the keys until you press one. There should be an option to keep the backlights on when using it. There is also no way to check battery power, so we have been caught out a few times when the keyboard dies on you when using it. Same can be said for the mouse, no way of knowing battery levels so you can get caught out!

great product
Very nice product, especially for the price; my son loves the feeling of the mechanical keyboard.

Colorful Quiet Keyboard
While I love a good click-clacky-keyboard, sometimes you want something a little quieter and more considerate (noise-wise to the people around you). The RedThunder K800 Mechanical Keyboard is colorful (with its LED colorway display), customizable, and feels solid - like it will hold up to regular use. Can't speak to it being water-resistant as I don't wanna purposefully test that particular aspect. I would recommend getting a gel pad wrist rest as the keys are set a hint higher because it is a mechanical key keyboard. Be aware, this is a cabled keyboard, not Bluetooth, which I didn't mind. Otherwise, it works great.

A few weaknesses keep it from greatness.
There are a few issues that keep the RedThunder K800 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard from greatness. And there are several aspects of this keyboard that are strong, so this is still a solid product. So let's get the weaknesses out of the way first: - The lights are unevenly distributed underneath the keys, and there is not a one-to-one/light-to-key mapping. There are more like 10 or so LEDs underneath all of the keys. This causes the light to be unevenly distributed, so some areas of the keyboard are brighter than others. This is particular noticeable when there are no animations. - There are a few preset options for the colors (using a Fn-keypress to activate), but I was still left unsatisfied. I am now accustomed to RGB keyboards where the individual key light can be set. A few brightness levels are included also, so the entire array can be dimmed. - The light times out after the keyboard has not been touched in a few minutes. There is no way to set an "always-on" mode, even when the machine is plugged into an outlet. This is a bummer for games that might require sporadic keyboard use. In a dimly lit environment, having the keyboard go dark in the middle of a gaming session is not good. Pressing a key will register the key-press also, so there is no way to turn the lights back on without sending a key press signal. Meh. - And finally, the keys are not very translucent at all. Even with the keyboard lit, it can be difficult to see which key is which if the environment is dark. - And a bonus... this product has the notorious micro-text manual. Go find a magnifying glass, the normal human eye can't read this manual without some sort of magnification. But like I said, this keyboard does a lot right also - so let's end on a high note. Here is what it does well: - The construction and quality is top notch. This keyboard is made of metal and passes the lift test with flying colors. It is heavy and will stay where it is put. - The keys are a pleasure to press. I wouldn't want to do any speed typing on this board, but for gaming it is perfect. - The braided cable is of generous length and is well constructed. - The keys can be removed and swapped, and a tool is included to pop them out. So there you have it. It doesn't reach greatness, but a solid performer nonetheless. Shop around, and if this ends up being your cup of tea then you can't really go wrong.

No customer service and defective product
I was super excited when I ordered this keyboard because I have a "gaming key-pad" from RedThunder that I absolutely love and this keyboard seemed like it was going to be another favorite peripheral from RedThunder for me. Unfortunately that is no where near what happened when the keyboard arrived. I pulled it out of the box, realized it is EU style (not that big of a deal since I don't use my desktop for much typing) but also that it has a super tiny shift key. Okay so not the end of the world, but then I plugged it in.... and the W, G, and Windows keys either didn't work at all, or only worked if I pressed so hard it felt like I was going to break the whole keyboard. Of course this was likely just a random defect since when I removed the keycaps, it seemed the switch had just been manufactured wrong, so I contacted RedThunder using the information they provide in all their products. 5 days later, I had not heard back though, so I tried to contact them through Amazon on their seller's page. Another 5 days and no response. I then waited 5 more days just to be sure they aren't just slow; no response. I finally broke down and contacted Amazon and requested a replacement, which arrived in less than 2 days. The replacement works fine and I really do like the look and feel of the ketyboard's metal deckplate and the slightly defused key switches that make the RGB look nice and clean, BUT I cannot in good conscience recommend this product based on RedThunder's lack of customer service. Especially for a brand that literally includes like 3 different pieces of paper with every one of their products that tells you about "how much the customer matters" and "please feel free to contact us if you have any problems or questions" and all that type of stuff. Overall if you are willing to gamble on getting a defective product and zero support from RedThunder, go for it, but otherwise save your money and look elsewhere.
