Has this tent got a fully sewn in ground sheet?

The site I go to requires a breathable groundsheet so as not to damage the grass. Will this one comply?

No. The built-in/sewn-in groundsheet is completely waterproof and not breathable. A breathable groundsheet looks like a woven plastic mesh, which would protect from bugs and worms, dirt etc. Not sure how waterproof they are. We have a footprint (tarp) to go under our tent. You could use a breathable groundsheet in the same way. You get plenty of airflow between the tent and footprint.

In our pack we have 2 thin sized and 2 larger sized poles (not attached to strings) Are these just spares for the Canopy & Door poles?

No they are not spares. They are in fact what you use to make the Hobbit door. The thick one is the hinge and the thin one is the half round of the door. You basically push them in and zip or velcro them shut.

This valdes 4 only has a small canopy using 1 pole yet on colemans website it has a larger 2 pole canopy. Why? Is the later a newr model?
