Don’t know why Jeep puts a long antenna on the front of a Jeep ment to go on trails but this thing solved the problem of it whipping around. As far as reception this is a small antenna so the reception is limited. It stays in place looks good and can pick up stations in town. I use Sirius most of the time I just wanted to get rid of the long antenna.

Looks amazing. It’s reception isn’t as good as the stock antenna’s, but it’s close, at least in town where I’ve used it. That wasn’t a big requirement for me. Let’s face it, the stock antenna is around 36” tall and this one is 7”. It wouldn’t be fair to expect equal performance, but this one definitely works well for its size and its great looks far outweigh any reception losses.

Poor reception, will need to replace to enjoy music/pod cast in the audio. Would not recommend!

Easy to install. I have no need for a long twangy antenna. I assume it works for FM and AM radio, but like most people I don’t spend much time listening to radio as I use apps.Update: FM Radio stations come in clear! I started the Jeep and was greeted by Jose Feliciano belting out: "Feliz Navidad".

Looks good but reception is lacking. Cleaned all surfaces and mounted firmly, but no am reception and some fm channels that were already were hard to tune into now don’t work very well at all… factory radio with no booster used.

Looks great, and no reduction in reception. Took less than 5 minutes to replace old antenna.

This antenna was a great product & fit well as far as matching my jeep but I ordered it too short. Otherwise it was great.

Love the fact that is so short, and is made of rubber. Certainly to be a lot better then the stock wire one that seemed to catch on everything close to that side of the Jeep. Don’t use any tools with sharp jagged teeth to tighten this on , it’s rubber from top to bottom. I’ve hand tightened mine and that seems to be enough 🤞

My hope that this would yield similar results to those who had also purchased a short spiral antenna has not materialized. Even in a metropolitan centre like Hamilton my reception was weak at best. I would not recommend this product

It worked on my 2002 RAV4 and is much better looking than the factory antenna. Unfortunately the reception is very poor and makes some local stations unlistenable.
