Very short storie
The author kept saying that he put all the gory details, honestly it's not too much detail for each story, he gets right to it and then finishes quickly. It's ok but not at all what I was expecting!

Interesting
As always, these cases were fantastic and creepy. There are some seriously sick people in the world. I feel for the victims families

I ordered all three hardcover
I’m a true crime fanatic… these books are amazing, some of the stories I’ve already seen documentary coverage on but these books go way more in to depth! I was addicted to reading them and even got a couple of my co workers to order the same book for themselves.

It’s just so good!
It’s written so well. I honestly am hooked and looking forward to ordering more. Some stories are short, some are a little longer but this a perfect book to pick up and put down several times a day. Very intense details that haven’t heard added to the few cases that were familiar to me. I love how this doesn’t cover the regular cases you hear about too often. Beautifully done all around.

hoping this would be a little more insightful
if you enjoy true crime media that's intended to shock and/or disgust, but that doesn't demand too much from the reader, then this is the book for you.i'm a fan of the true crime genre, for sure, but i prefer media that explores motive, physiological brain comparison/exploration, implications for society, exploration of the impacts of trauma, etc. this book covers none of those bases.i hate to say that these volumes are a collection of "gore-porn" with little substance. i also found the writing style a little hard to follow at times. Names of people/places/dates would be included (or NOT included) in such a way that i often found myself thinking, "wait, who is being discussed now?" or "who is this person? when were they introduced?" or "what year did this occur?"I will say that i did find the appendix of volume 2 (SK Confessions, written by "Dexter-Wannabe" Mark Twitchell) to be the most compelling part of the 3 volume series. it offered the kind unique, first hand insight that i find interesting. it's a shame that this text wasn't explored at all by the author. i felt that was missed opportunity for sure.

Missing pages
Overall , LOVE the book. But during one story “appendix: “Sk confessions” , I’m missing 4 pages of the story 😳😳

psychos, saddos and sickos and then some
This book barely scrapes the surface of the surface of the surface of true crimes that have been committed down the years, barely the tip of the tip of the tip of the iceberg but still, as a cross sample of the psycho, sickos and others it’s a disturbing annalysis of the depts to which mankind as a species will sink to for his own gratification. it’s a good book and i hope there will be more. I already read volume 4 of this series and that was pretty good too.
