It holds a really large amount of stuffies - I had a kitchen trash bag full set aside for it, and was able to put all those in and then add half a dozen more and also a number of baby / toddler blankets. I had no idea what I was going to do with all that stuff - bingo, problem solved. My son is five and this is a fine size for him to sit and read in. It's very sturdy and could easily be moved around using the built in strap.
