I ordered these to create memorial boxes for one of my students that recently lost her 4-year-old sister. I ordered two because she goes between her mom and dads’ house. I prefer to gift a memory box in lieu of flowers for families to collect personal items, mementos or pictures. They can sit with their other daughter and reflect on fond memories and add them to the box as they go through the grieving process together. These Blake & Lake boxes are the perfect size. They have a smooth surface for the vinyl decal to adhere to. I ordered the large white box, with a 6" hot pink vinyl decal (decal not from B&L). The boxes arrived well packaged and had no broken or splintered wood and the hinges worked well. They are beautifully crafted, sturdy and have a felted bottom. As you can see the boxes turned out perfectly. The price point reflects the quality and workmanship I was looking for. At about the cost of a (small) floral bouquet I found these to be everything I hoped. They are ready to give as a beautiful keepsake they can enjoy for many years. Long after flowers are gone.
