How is this installed? Do you cut to fit round holders? Do you peel the backing off?

If your vehicle is Honda pilot, then no need to peel off the back or cut to fit round holders. Just replace the old one with this new one.

I saw in the evaluation that this product is not oem quality. is this true?

My original insert ripped and I replaced it with this. This product has worked well for me. It squeaks a little when you put something in the cup holder but that sound just means it’s working.
