I have used this on several scars from plastic surgery and other surgery - it does everything it promises. I recently repurchased after anorther surgery. It's a case of you get what you pay for - this product is great, especially if you want surgical scars to heal well on visible areas such as your face!

Using for surgical scars and seeing improvement daily

I had hernia surgery and had a scar about 4 inches long. I wanted to make sure it healed nicely so I used this gel on it daily after my shower. It started out kind of purple and bumpy but water about 3 months of daily use (I covered it using scar tape) the scar is a very thin line without bumps or discoloration. Maybe that would have been the outcome anyway, but it didn’t hurt to try it. It lasts a long time and I would use it again after any surgery or wound. But the scar tape is a must. It covers and protects the scar and the adhesive doesn’t pull my skin off like the paper tape does. That scar tape is fantastic.

4 stars just because I don't yet know how it will work overtime. I began using it a little before recommended, 2 weeks after injury, while still scabbed over.

Works so good very soft great value for your money a little goes a long way

Applied a small thin layer to incisions only once. Developed a rash in surrounding area and discontinued use. Dermatitis spread as days passed. Do not recommend. I never have issues with products. I do not have sensitive skin issues. Five weeks post op.
