BritaSpace Saver Water Filter Pitcher-Black-6 Cup

Favorite Brita filter to date. Older model Brita filter was larger than needed and had paid its dues. It was probably way past time for replacement. This one is small enough to easily fit into my fridge. Easy to fill with a built in filter monitor that gives auto updates with each fill, no button pressing required. Functionally there shouldn't be any difference between this model and my previously owned older model but somehow the water just tastes cleaner. Can't explain that though due to using the same model filters. If I had anything to critique it would be the hinge flap for the spout portion. The plastic rod for securing it is just slightly too short and the flap hinge can easily fall right off if you touch it even slightly. I get around that by just not putting my hand where the water comes out and problem solved. A really great water filter/pitcher purchase for the price.

It’s the perfect size for our camper. I bought it to replace my old Brita. It was scratched up and not as stylish as this one. The only difference that I can tell is the old Brita you could fill the top part with water and it was enough to fill the bottom after running through the filter. This one you have to put the water in the top and wait till it drains down and then fill the top part up again. I still wouldn’t trade it for my old one. This one’s so much nicer looking.

Lightweight. Excellent for Elderly and Disabled. Bought for my old mother who could not lift the larger version, she is able to use this pitcher with ease. Brita water tastes best as it removes the most pollutants, such as fluoride, pfas and chlorine in tap water. Makes a clean water with a fresh taste. I most highly recommend. 👍🏻

I bought this 5 months ago. I like the black sleeck design. But my "window" STILL shows green. So...2 months approx that they say...does not seem to work on these small pitchers. It's best to set yourself a computer timer for 2 or 3 months to be the best.

I'm a long time Pur owner, and I would have been happy to keep buying them. But their new 6-7 cup pitchers are just crap. Very thin plastic, weak handles, and top heavy. I decided to take a chance on this Brita, and so far I am happy with it.IMPORTANT: the bottom of the filter is cross type pattern, basically 4 squares on a round tube. But they aren't equal. You have to rotate the filter just right in order for it to fully insert into the plastic frame. The bottom of the filter should stick down through the plastic frame. If not, the lid doesn't sit tight, and will fall off when you pour water. I'm willing to bet the majority of complaints about this pitcher are due to people not having the filter seated properly.

Product leaks. Disappointing.

Loved this filter pitcher immediately. Just the right size, looks stylish, water filters quickly and tastes fabulous. Ignore those people (mostly in reviews of other colors of the same product) who claim the components don't fit properly and the pitcher leaks or parts drop off. That's all user error, caused by not installing the filter properly so its long groove slides down the ridge in the reservoir tube, and then pressing firmly so friction locks it in place. Read the instructions.....they're simple, you're adults, I have great confidence that you can figure it out. Now about that unforgivable tax grab for the rich.....

I ordered this slim Brita because I needed to replace my very disgusting ZeroWater system (the fish smell was unbelievable- even ruined a brand new electric kettle with its stench). The Brita is sleek, easy to fill and use. Water tastes SO much better (I live in town with gross tap water - it does NOT taste good) - this Brita has saved me countless money in bottled water and space. I couldn't be happier. My only complaint is that I just wish it came with the new long-life filter instead of the standard one. Guess what's next on my Amazon purchase list? Lol. I highly recommend it. Good investment for the price. I had the box shaped model for eons when I was younger and it was also extremely handy. If you have the space, I recommend that model of Brita too.

Love this small Brita which fits in the inside door of my fridge for easy access. Just replaced the filter for the first time after months of use, great purchase and would recommend.

I bought this Brita to replace a Mavea jug that bit the dust after 5 solid years' use. This Brita is about half the price of a Mavea so thought I'd just get something smaller and cheaper. However, I already miss the brilliant Mavea input lid (which is easy to put on and also - more importantly - you can just pour water right into it, unlike with the Brita, where you have to press a lever to get the intake lid to pop up). This is a little design choice that makes a big difference.I too had trouble with putting on the Brita lid but it was just a matter of truly lining up the notches in the filter as they only go one way.There's nothing fancy about this Brita, but it's compact yet holds enough water for 2 people. If it were for a family, I'd recommend getting a larger Brita. This is a pretty basic unit. Still, for the price, I'm happy with it.I'll update this review if anything changes over time, given it's only had a week of use so far. I hope it lasts 5 years like my ol' Mavea jug!
