This so far seems to be one of those almost right products. 5000 mah is just a tick to small or this isn't quite 5k. 10 is too big but 5k, especially after a year after shrinkage plus the aux port its just a bit small. The aux port is great to give your Bluetooth headset a boost but you can't charge it without pressing g the button and charging the phone. The case feature gives some protection but with only a small front lip it's not enough if it walls face first on something like asphalt.The one big good thing is if the phone is in the case and not plugged in if I charge from the case I get a very reasonable quick 1.5 hr, 1200 mA charging rate. Unfortunately if it's plugged in the battery case charges med speed and the phone very slowly at 300 mA or about 4 hrs at 50% empty. So far it looks like the only way to get everything charged in a night and leave it in the case is to charge your phone for 3 hours then wake up, unplug, then a few hours charging the phone from the battery. Then wakeup again replace in your battery case phone combo and recharge again for 3+ hours. Other reports seem to say it charges slowly from battery. Perhaps they were charging with it plugged in.Edit: 1-1 So it works but only if you either sleep 15 hours a day or perhaps you can get by with 9 or so hours if you wake up 2 times on schedule to plug and unplug. It's possible this is a malfunctioning unit. If the manufacturer responds and this unit is broken I will give it another shot.Edit 12-29 As an add. I tried to use this with 4 different high quality chargers including the oem Samsung one and the battery had the same dysfunction. Then I tried a charger at my kids house and it worked fairy well. It reasonably quickly charged the battery and phone at the same time. That's still a huge product defect but I also see it can work. Now I'm on the fence to return. Can the company tell me there is a reasonable chance a replacement will be less picky about chargers?Edit 1-3 so far it seems to be charging both the phone AND the ext battery overnight WITH the right case and cable. My last phone battery case worked great with my cables and a few of my high quality chargers. So far this battery works but is very touchy on what it connects to. I wish I could tell you what to buy. All I can say is I'm using an oem Samsung charger with a shorter fairly heavy looking cable. It may have been a cable off a wireless game system controller. The ones it didnt like are the very nice thinner short or long woven black and white herringbone pattern sold as a set on amazon.1-12 those having a problem charging try every combo of cable and charger you can find. It's sensitive but with the right combo it's been working well for a week. Charges both the phone and battery overnight. Now just need to buy a backup cable that works also.

Ok, this technically does what it supposed to which is charge the phone. But it is a very frustrating process for me. I have had multiple phones and battery cases in the past. So far all excluding this one would be easy-to-use and be part of the phone permanently. This one does not work like that. That single worse problem I have is that at night I plug up the case with the phone still in it and in the morning the case is fully charged but the phone is only at 60% after like 6-7 hours of charging. When plugged in it shows that it is slow charging constantly. I have to separate the phone from the case and charge them individually. Which I never had to do with all the previous phones and battery cases in the past.

I got my hubby one for Xmas. He works far from home. Sadly, our families have had several dr visits. He recently updated to a new phone and I found this case for him. It has helped keep in touch with our families in case of emergency. I definitely recommend. He loves it. The one thing we both agree is that the case is bulky. Asides that it does it’s job ☺️

Battery life it charges very slow for the price I can't complain

Recommend getting one. Price is cheap and helps keep phone charged.
