The price & fit of 4681EA2001T Washer Drain Pump Motor by JMREEJP, Sturdy and Durable Exact Fit for LG were really good and after seeing an installation shortcut video on Youtube it took about ten minutes to install. The first replacement pump failed after about two weeks for no apparent reason. The screen was clear and the discharge hose was not blocked. The machine was making the same growling noise as the original failed pump. It was a good thing I had ordered two replacement pumps so I changed the bad one with the second replacement pump. All is working fine now but I am ordering a third replacement pump just in case of future failure.

Didn't fit properly and leaked. The LG brand hooked up right away and didn't leak.

I ordered 2 of them. One died after a few months. I thought it was because of a piece of bark I found in the coin catch, but the second one only lasted a day. To be fair, there is something else going on with my washer that's preventing drainage.... My best guess is that not enough water is getting to the pump and it's causing the motor to heat up and therefore the cheap plastic "propeller" is getting ruined. I'm taking everything apart to fix the F02 error code but I'm definitely ordering a different brand next time. This one is not built very well if it can die in a day.

This drain pump is as good as the original that came with the washing machine. Easy to install and my machine works as good as the day I bought it.

It was easy to install into my LG washer. The pump blades make rattling sound will not pump water out. I ended up ordering another one and hope this new one last longer than the last.

This was for my front load washer because it stopped draining. Now it works like a new washing machine and it is over 20 years old. Very happy and this part was easy to install and very inexpensive.

Unfortunately this pump only worked for me 2 loads and broke. I just didn't feel like oredering me a new one so I bought a new washer. Seems to be a part that goes out often.

The impeller for this pump is driven by a very skinny brass finger that extends from the main pump shaft and sloppily fits into an exceptionally cheap plastic impeller design. As such, the small finger quickly fails metallurgically with just normal wash cycles in a few months worth of time. The pump is inherently designed for planned obsolescence which requires repeat purchases and pump replacements. Again, both the OEM and aftermarket pumps have this issue. As a result of that, I would recommend NOT owning a washing machine that uses this pump. This LG design is not conducive to having a reliable appliance with a long life.
