Wish the tool specify fitment in terms of model/year
I bought this tool because there is a strut nut that I am unable to remove. The nut is buried beneath a top metal plate and a small hole is the only exposed area to access this nut. Regular wrenches would not work. This tool claims to fit Volvo strut nuts but it didn't specify the year. Unfortunately it doesn't fit mine, which is 2011. Hope the seller could update the info.

Socket worked goods
The socket worked good on my 05 XC-90 but the holding tool wasn’t compatible. I still rebuilt my struts .

27 not 28mm
It’s not a 28mm hex wrench (box end wrench) for the holding socket it is 27mm (SAE 1 and 1/16”). Please fix the description so people don’t buy large wrenches they don’t need.

Perfect fit
I had to replace the front suspension on my XC90 after my daughter accidentally decided to catch air on a railroad crossing and bent the struts on landing... This tool was a perfect fit for the + shaped bolt on the top of the strut system.
