This cutting board was designed here in beautiful Los Angeles, California where both Founders were born. We make our boards here in the US, as well as some abroad. For our Alfred design, every board is crafted in the US from start to finish with incredibly beautiful black walnut. For our Winsome design, we vetted factories all over the world with close attention to quality and consistency of their work and landed on our partnered supplier who has decades of experience with woodworking, located outside of Hong Kong, due to their incredible work as well as providing us with pricing that would result in offering our amazing customers the absolute best price for a high-quality cutting board. Our acacia wood is Eco-Friendly and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) from 100% sustainable plantations, delivering top-quality acacia with minimal impact on the environment. Additionally, we can ensure that our cutting board meets all US food safety standards and went through a thorough inspection process. Do I need to apply oil this cutting board before using it?

A food-grade mineral oil is applied to our cutting board and arrives at your doorstep ready for use! Just give a light clean after the unboxing. We highly recommend regular application of oil to help prevent drying and cracking, as well as to bring out the beautiful natural colors of the acacia wood. Enjoy!

We're happy to! Hand wash in warm soapy water, thoroughly rinse and towel dry. Stand the board up to allow surfaces to air dry evenly after each use. Regular application of a food grade mineral oil will help preserve the rich natural colors of the acacia wood as well as prevent the board from drying out. Hope that helps!

Is the board big enough to carve a prime rib?
