Q: Can the chair sash be washed in a machine?

I put one in the wash by mistake with some chair covers . The sash was okay after I removed it from the dryer, but I will not make that same mistake again because the buckle on the back is plastic. You can't remove the buckle so I am afraid if you wash and dry this type of sash with the buckle it will be ruined. I suggest you hand wash and air dry. Be sure to dry the buckle completely.

Q: Can the buckle be taken off ?

The fabric is threaded through the buckle and then sewn into a loop. The only way to remove it would be to cut the seam and then resew it.

Q: Would these work for card table chairs?

No they would not. Card table chairs tend to be shorter and wider. Check the measurements of the chair covers against the measurements of the Card table chairs. You can look for folding chair covers. that may be a better fit.

Q: Is the shade of purple dark? I am looking for one that is similar to purple wine not the dark/deep purple or light/lavendar, I need a shade in between

The color is light lavender but they are nice they made my son's wedding look awesome but they do need ironing
