Do Not Disturb: An addictive psychological thriller Paperback – 10 Sept. 2021

I love a Frieda McFadden book. With building suspense, and twists galore Do Not Disturb is another very enjoyable read. You may think you know what's going on, but then she whips the rug out from underneath your feet! This was my third book by her and I look forward to reading more. I listened to the audiobook, and the narrators were fantastic.

Fast paced . Easy read . Short chapters , which i prefer . Enjoyed this one . Unexpected ending (Freida McFadden style )

First book of Freida McFadden, great author which got me hooked on her other books. Very fast paced and easy to get through

This novel borrows from a well known Hitchcock film to create the mood and suspense and takes an interesting multi-person approach to spin the yarn, with each telling their story in the first-person. I confess to not being a big fan of the first-person style, feeling it narrows the narrative, but McFadden uses it well and introduces each view point at satisfying moments, leaving you intrigued and invested as you learn a little more from the eyes of another character. When the threads all came together, I was a little disappointed, as it felt overly convenient, but I won't go into detail for fear of spoiling for others.

I didn’t enjoy this particular story as much as some of Freida’s other books. This was mainly due to one really unbelievable twist. It was, however, engaging throughout and I was keen to find out what would happen to Quinn. It was an interesting and exciting plot with Quinn running away from home after killing her husband. There were some eccentric characters in this book and it was interesting to learn more about them as the story progressed. Overall, I did enjoy this story, hence the 4 stars, but the strange twist and quick rap-up ending felt a little rushed.

What a fantastic read, it kept me guessing, quite the rollercoaster, but I just couldn’t stop reading it, I was hooked and just had to keep reading to find out what happened. exhausting and exciting to read, I loved it!!!

Complete rollercoaster from start to finish. Multiple twists, I devoured this book in one sitting shooing away anyone who dared interrupt me.
