Beautifully written taboo story with a twist!
I went into this book hesitantly but with an open mind after reading the disclaimer warning given by the author at the beginning of the book. This book is seriously Taboo in subject and once you realise just how taboo you'll want to put this book down but you won't!Because by then you'll be hooked completely by the brilliant emotional writing and the story, that draws you in completely, hooking you to every word, you will need to see how this plays out. There's an epic twist in this story that you may, like me, of been wishing and hoping for. I think I worked it out early on in the book or maybe I was just hoping and praying that I was right, but after a re read the clues are all there. The hero in this story, as much as part of me wanted to hate him when the first encounter happened, I couldn't, I adored him, within a few chapters he could of done just about anything and I'd of still be rooting for him. Reed is divine and You can feel his struggle with the situation, the fight he had within himself over everything that happens, his fear of those feelings, his determination, his love, in every freaking word. The heroine pushes and pushes until the line he's drawn in the sand moves. Which is something we can all relate to, we may try drawing boundaries but circumstances and every action made moves it or even erases that line. She's strong, determined and knows what she wants be it wrong or right. If you stop to think and ignore the taboo link between them for just a minute, then honestly you will see that they are the most well suited couple, true soulmates regardless of the way life put them together. This book won't be for everyone. There will be people who will hate this book, who won't give it a chance and put it down before they work it out and see the real beauty behind the words, those who won't look at it with an open mind in order to really feel the meaning and there is meaning. It isn't just a taboo story. It's a story of Iove and soulmates coming together, the struggle within themselves over feelings they shouldn't have, regardless of the way life threw them together. Yes in many eyes it's wrong and if it weren't for the twist maybe my view would be different but there's no disputing this book pushes boundaries and makes you think, no .... if I'm totally honest I was so invested in them by then I wanted their happy ever after regardless.Honestly I think if the heroine had been just a couple of years older then more people wouldn't have an issue with it although here in the uk and in many countries she's legal. Then there will be others who regardless of how taboo, will love it but won't admit it.Then you'll have people like me, who loved it and just how brilliantly written it is, that will take something away from this book like I have. This book will stay with me for a long time to come. Those who hate it may think those of us who loved it are a little sick in the head and that's fine, we all read differently, we all view taboo subjects differently (in books) , we all take away a different meaning within a book and this book taboo or not was seriously hot and one of the most beautifully written stories I've read. How can something wrong feel so right! Give it a chance and maybe you'll see.

The wild!
So how do you write a spoiler free review of a book that in order for other people to understand, you would have to give away a crucial point in the plot? Well I don't do spoilers, so here it goes. This was my second book by K Webster and I didn't know what she had in store for us when I bought the book. I was i by the blurb so I said why not?All I can say is that I started reading the book, read it in a few hours, but I did have to take a few breaks from it. It felt weird reading it, I felt like I had no morals for actually enjoying it and started questioning if I had an ever darker side than I originally thought. And I probably do!So the plot is a major taboo, probably a no no in most people's mind, mine included. But this is FICTION ,people. FICTION!!!! This is someone's imagination. Just because it's on paper, it doesn't mean the author believes in such acts. Some people like reading about forbidden things, myself included. A lot of books have murder, abuse, etc in them. And people don't bat and eyelash. But apparently this taboo is worse than reading about ending someone's life.I still believe this book is not for the faint hearted, hence the warning in the blurb and the warning at the beginning of the book. But people still decided to read it and then bash it and bash the author. I mean, seriously, what did they expect??? Hearts an flowers???What I will say that taboo aside, this is a beautifully written love story. The author is amazing at sucking you into the storyline so that you can't put it down. The writing is fluid, the descriptions are amazing and the characters are so well built. If you are able to think outside the box, understand that this is fiction and this is the author's imagination, go for it. You will be blown away!I purchased and read the kindle version.

dirty and taboo
If you want a cute and mushy romance then you are looking in the wrong place, when I say this is taboo then I mean it in every sense of the word. Not all romance is hearts and flowers, some is gritty, dirty and taboo, but love all the same. As much as this book went against all my morals, I still loved it. This book was given to me as an ARC by Author K Webster and I have no idea what to say, I am lost for words 😂 If you like Taboo reads (and I mean TABOO) then this is the one for you. I had no idea what to expect when I received this book but what I read would have never entered my imagination! This is truly an amazing read and definitely send you through all the emotions....anger, disgust, love, sadness, joy, fear (yes I did just name all the characters from inside out😂😂) Despite the taboo nature of this book, I couldn't help but fall in love with the characters, especially Reed 😍 this book is wrong in all the right ways.WARNING!Not for the feint hearted! This book may make you incredibly uncomfortable and possibly offend. If you chose to read this then please be mega open minded and make sure you get to the end of the book! Extreme sexual violence in some scenes and may trigger emotional distress.Honestly I cannot stress this warning enough! As K.Webster would say....You have been warned! Read at your own risk!
