I specifically purchased this because I thought the item could be reused. The top part can be wiped clean but you cannot wash this. The bottom is made of a cardboard/paper like material. Reusable was my goal so I don't have to worry about waste, but I now have no choice

I have not use my cake boards yet, but I think they will serve well. For my grandsons wedding cakes. They list them as being white boards. The underneath of the cake boards are white, but the finish on the top is silver with a very nice pattern.

Used for cake base on 3 tier wedding cake. Pretty boards nothing else needed ! Very nice
